This should go without saying but there’s no need to send or mention this to someone you know who’s doing IVF or any fertility treatments. If they want to make jokes or have concerns around it, fine. But it will likely not be well-received by many people.

Nah, she’d have the good sense to try to be diplomatic as POTUS. I don’t want her to be diplomatic.

That’s probably true. What was seen was Fotis throwing away bags containing items that were stained with her blood.

Absolutely. I was thinking more along the lines that someone who’d spent thousands and thousands of dollars already would see it as a drop in the bucket and go for it in the hopes that it would make the difference for their next treatment cycle.

Also, in the scheme of things for infertility treatments, not terribly expensive. Horrendously over-priced for what it is but less than a cycle’s pharmacy costs for some treatments.

In college, I was a nanny and was on a few nanny-matching websites for a while. I got messages soliciting me for stuff like this all the time. It was always wording like they mentioned like “not sold in the US” and “solo modeling videos.” I never accepted and a few times sent them angry responses. When I did, they’d

Held accountable” means promoted.

I went to French schools and I know that look. That is a look that generally preceded a verbal slap so surgical you might want to reach for a cigarette afterword.

No extradition treaty. Not that what little is left of the state department would grant it against blondie.

The news and everyone else will forget, but the internet won’t.

As much as Fresno shares a number of characteristics with central and northern Florida, gun toting isn’t one of them. This guy is definitely not part of the norm. This is not to defend the honor of Fresno or its residents, just noting the cultural difference. California gun laws are relatively strict, so my money is

Two options:

Same. My first birth was a c-section after a full 24 hours of labor. It was traumatic and made more so with the feeling that having a c-section somehow made me a failure. Thanks for nothing, birth classes. The amount to which I felt the need to mention that it was an emergency c-section. Ugh. The self-loathing.

He worked for state government as their “Chief Innovation Officer” and was a white dude assaulting a Native woman. Apparently, he did Peace Corps in Tonga. Who knows what crap he was up to there.

Same with ADHD. There was one kid in my elementary school class who was diagnosed and medicated, something she chattered about non-stop. Looking back, I’m sure many other kids would have been similarly diagnosed and medicated today

But by how much does this change anything? The NYTimes article doesn’t say. I can’t access the full study, but the summary basically says, “Hey we’ve noticed a bunch of things that influence breastmilk composition. People should look into them.” Just looking at the summary, that doesn’t signal a significant causation.

Yup. He’s the real victim here.

The hospital I gave birth in had tubs for labor and showers in the recovery rooms. I didn’t get to use it, but they looked quite nice.

A pair of oxblood Doc Martens that were just barely broken in and priced to sell at a local thrift store. I put them back only because I was about to move internationally and had to thin out the stuff I already had. This was more than 15 years ago and I still regret not buying them.

Wooohooo! My father took on this hairstyle a few years ago. I think it reminded him of his youth. But I think he hates Trump more than he fears being old, so here’s hoping this encourages him to get a haircut.
