I managed to slog all the way through Life of Pi because my colleague (who later went on to rave endlessly about other books I didn’t like) assured me it was about tog et really good. Glad to find someone else who felt the same way.

My friend was the same year in high school with his daughter and played on the basketball team. He’d go to games and was always gracious about people wanting autographs etc if she wasn’t on the court. For the most part, people were also pretty nice about not bothering him when she was.

If the menus offered in the restaurant are hand scrawled they probably aren’t online. 

The rest of the food might not have been 5 star to begin with. I’d hope that rating would be reserved for a restaurant that had above-excellent food, ambiance, and service. People seem to be responding as if you start with 5 stars and then take off points for negative elements.

The one spring break I wasn’t working, my friend and I went to London and crashed at her friend’s place. We spent the days ay museums and nights at theaters and/or pubs. We also caught up on some badly-needed sleep.

I was in 8th or 9th grade when it came out so I was the exact target demographic and loved it. This is why I was a little uneasy to watch it again a few years ago but it aged beautifully. 

I didn’t like her dress either, but it was the exact right choice for that character in that time period. Bianca would have worn whatever the thing to wear was and definitely the most cutesy version thereof.

I don’t agree that malice is the right standard to apply because it is arguable that indifference to the direct results of one’s actions is just as dangerous as malice. Also, emphasizing malice gives people too much of an out from taking responsibility for what they choose to do.
