Yeah, I thought it was brilliant setting it in the Baja desert, where nothing's changed in the landscape for millennia, so he has no clue that a time shift has taken place. No disappearing buildings & cars, etc.

Yeah, I was kinda impressed by the level of detail they put into that.

Well, when I first found it on DVD, I put it on 'Loop' and ran it as sort of "video wallpaper" on my TV for about two weeks while I worked with my computer. Wore out my tabletop player!
