I think the ridiculousness of the premise of Threshold coupled with one of the most hand-wavy endings makes it stick out in my mind as a particularly bad episode. You're probably right that those episodes you mentioned are worse, and there are probably worse episodes of Voyager too.

I believe I read that the new series was in no way connected to the "Star Trek Beyond" movie with the new cast that is currently in production, which hopefully means it's set in the original Trek timeline and not the rebooted one.

Speaking for myself, I was surprised when they stuck around for more than 1 episode. Icheb grew on me, the other 3 were dead weight from the beginning and I was glad when they unceremoniously dropped them all on some random planet.

I just finished watching Voyager about a month ago. I think it's much better than its reputation. You're not wrong about the Janeway-Seven-Doctor aspect, but I think the majority of the episodes were still fun to watch. I wouldn't say the finale was a mess, but I definitely wish we had seen more of what happens to

Maybe if enough people watch the broadcast of the pilot they'll change their minds and air the whole series.

I'll definitely watch the whole thing—if I can get through "Profit and Lace" or that Voyager episode where Janeway and Paris turn into salamanders and mate (the episode title escapes me at the moment), then I can handle the worst Enterprise has to offer, I'm sure.

Agreed. My wife and I just finished the series about a month ago. Sure there are some clunker episodes, but I really enjoyed it a lot more than expected. It's not as good as any of the 3 series that preceded it, but it's still mostly fun.

I literally just watched the first episode of ENT last night. I thought it was pretty good, especially as far as pilots go. I'm cautiously optimistic, after enjoying Voyager much more than I expected to, given its reputation.

New Trek? Yes please!

If they just took out all the commercial breaks during the game and replaced them with bits of Star Wars in order, I'd be extremely pleased.

Where's Reposted Wookieepedia when you need him (or her)?

Thank you for the explanation. I greatly enjoy watching football, but the actual mechanics of how plays are planned and carried out are generally a mystery to me.

Pats-Dolphins, 24-20? I know this was probably written before the game last night, but there's not time to go in and change 2 numbers before posting? I really just like seeing 36-7 in print (so long as my team has the 36).

Not a big fan of BBT, but I'm definitely interesting in watching the Spock doc.

Not a fan of this song. I don't really like the vocalist (Sara apparently—maybe Tegan is better, but then they are identical twins, so not likely), and that combined with the repetitiveness of the lyrics just makes this song annoying. Certainly doesn't pique my interest in hearing more from Tegan and Sara.

Noted.

You just blew my mind, Wookieepedia.

So what you're saying is, Star Wars and Willow are in the same universe?

I know what you mean, Simon. If they've clinched the top spot in the conference again, and they last couple games are meaningless, then yeah, I can see them not really being worried about taking a loss or two at the end of the season. I don't really want to think about the Super Bowl though, it just brings me down.

I don't have any stats to back this up, but I do believe the Pats have at times struggled against the Dolphins when we play them in Miami. I seem to recall more than a few losses there.
