Agree! I was just talking with someone recently about how the best message for any Dem running for president in 2020 is to be idealistic with their progressive agenda a la Bernie. Hillary, despite having a progressive platform, had trouble connecting because she was a nuts and bolts, details kind of person. But people

I agree and that predicament for Dems is very frustrating. I really don’t think, however, that Pelosi would sell out the marginalized (they almost had a DACA deal if not for that fuckface Stephen Miller). I guess we’ll have to see how things shake out.

Ask them about how Trump intends to pay for the wall and it’s an entirely different story. Why is it always helpful democratic policies that get scrutinized but republicans can bitch and moan and run up the deficit with impunity. (this is completely rhetorical, but still drives me nuts).

He’s just setting up a narrative so they can continue the ruse that it’s in fact democrats who are obstructionist and unable to work across the aisle. It’s the same thing as his warning about “presidential harassment.”

the only two that have any chance are infrastructure and prison reform. I agree that it’s not likely either will see any traction with a Republican Senate and Trump in the executive. But that doesn’t mean Dems shouldn’t push for it regardless.

The first order of business, the VERY first bill, will be something to improve the voting system: automatic voter registration, a check on citizens united, re-strengthen the voting rights act, set up independent redistricting committees, and close loopholes in government ethics (ie forcing candidates to show tax

1. I almost walked into Willem DeFoe as he was walking into and I was walking out of the Union Square Barnes & Noble.

Well, a dictatorship is basically a really, really small government so par the course with Republicans.

Doesn’t congress control purse strings, though. If Dems wanted to grant more funding to the investigation wouldn’t they be able to do that? Or would it not get enough votes or is Congress not able to do that?

How utterly not shocking. There was anecdotally so much shit going down yesterday.

Ohio is troubling. But Florida just restored voting rights to 1.4 million people!

Obstruction report will likely drop this month or next. Russia is going to continue well into 2019. Indictments are coming though for Jr, Stone and likely a slew of others.

Honestly, with all the shit going on in this country and the fact that my anxiety and stress levels over this election are only going to grow as the day goes on... I needed this.

lol I think it’s Tigers for Trump. I assume it’s a mascot thing? Sports? Whatever it is, it’s asinine.

It’s pretty in line with his comedy. His father died on 9/11 and he’s made a lot of references to that in his comedy. Comedy is very clearly how he copes and I think he’s talked openly about it. Especially, how it’s not for everyone that he can sometimes be glib about serious subjects but that it helps him/helped him

The most galling part, more than the text of the tweet, is the fact that this fucker made an actual promotional video out of it.

You expect our beloved president to film a promotional video - at a massacre site - with bad hair?

Christoph Walz is their guy in Zurich! This is too funny for words. But also so strange... yet so soooo funny. Especially the part where the FBI is going to drag Jacob Wohl to prison.

Now playing

They legit did a doo-wop pop song a few years ago, enjoy! :)

If you like girl power bops with great vocals then I would highly recommend listening to Little Mix.
