That key won’t work if it has been “disposed” of, and those keys expire once the guests’ stay has ended whether they have checked out officially …

Classic cop move. They do that when they can tell you’re distressed so you become even more agitated. The goal is to get you to say or do something that gives them the green light to be violent with you.

Then why was she asked to show it? She was asked to show it because Karen assumed she didn’t have one. Once she showed it, that should have been the end of it. But without a reason she shouldn’t have been asked in the first place. She should have been afforded the same peace as the white guests had.

The employee could’ve apologized *immediately* and tried to remedy the situation, but didn’t. Ms. Williams-Wright did the correct thing before and during the altercation: knowing her rights and displaying absolute self-respect even when being mistreated. Her family is in good hands.

It is not that she is losing her job. She is losing a hotel job. That industry has been shedding people since Feb. It is not like she is about to go over to the Marriott, or Holiday Inn Express and get the same position. Especially with the light of her racism shining so bright.

It’s like she wanted to lose her job in a pandemic, try to find another job with her bullshit and her publicity now.

Even more so, why aren’t people who call the police for trash like this arrested?

I don’t understand how all the Karens out there are completely oblivious to how this all plays out by now. Maybe it’s because this shit happens so often that we’re still only seeing a fraction of it, but still
