in fairness though, Ballaban has the same mild fright on his face 90% of the time.

You can buy a Tesla and not join the cult. It’s a car you drive. It has pluses and minuses. You can also mute Musk on Twitter.

Dumb location and mounting it is just for looks and Instagram credit.

I have something like this but instead of 4k in sliding boxes I just put things in the back of my car. Works super well for camping. You take your gear and then insert it into the hatch of your wagon or suv. Sleeping in your car absolutely sucks and from these pictures there clearly isn’t enough room to make it

When are they going to open standalone dealers that know how to treat customers in this price range?

I went to my local Genesis dealer, intending to buy one of these GV80s. Not only was it $8,000 over sticker, the dealer insisted on adding BrakesPlus (some BS where they literally splice into the wiring harness to add a

Can you fit 3 car seats in there, one of them rear facing? If so, can you see out the rearview mirror?

The dealer I work for doesn’t charge over MSRP, I think that’s the best you’ll find on new cars this year. Depreciation might help if you’re looking at buying pre-owned but it’s not the deal it was a year ago, and of course the GVs are too new to start showing up as CPOs yet. Good luck!

My dad has a manual 4 banger 2 series (it’s about as mint as mint gets). It’s not a bad car, but a Miata it most certainly is not. I’d rather have the Miata.

Is it just me, or are things getting worse as the latest generations of pickups hit the road? Just in the past month or so, I feel like I’m being blinded more and more frequently, from behind and in front.

Small luxury/sport sedans are still selling well in most markets. This thing will sell like hotcakes in Canada and China if they sell it over there. As far as the GTi comparison I’d buy it for the physical buttons and long term reliability proposition alone.

Pretty sure F1 has zero need for people like her. There are plenty of rich & famous people who have a passion for F1, and I’m guessing MTS is not one of them or she she would have loved to have spoken up about it. And frankly outside of the USGP, is really not even famous.

F1 revenue per year: $2,000,000,000 (2 billion)

Just so we’re clear: it’s Megan Thee Stallion’s bodyguards who were being snobbish, elitist, and ignorant here, not Martin Brundle.

1000% disagree.

I mean... Megan Thee Stallion and the rest of the celebrities we’re talking about aren’t that important EITHER, so F1 saying “hey, you wanna be part of our show, you have to ACTUALLY be part of our show” doesn’t seem unreasonable to me.

You’re absolutely right, to a degree. I’m not going to pretend to know the exact intricacies of the Golf R’s Haldex AWD system, but to my understanding it’s FWD-only until it detects slip at which point it begins to send up to half its power to the rear. VW did a snow drift-based press event for the Mk8 R, so it’s
