Given that every manual car I have owned or driven for more that a few minutes have been a rear wheel drive, I would agree that I haven’t pushed a fwd hard enough.

Hill assist is one more thing to go wrong when you need it. I am curious if an electronic hand brake will be useful for the hill starts

I have been driving for a couple of decades now and have never needed to use a handbrake for turning,

I am hoping that they will have a less optioned version that will cost a bit less. And also, hoping that they will help bring replacement parts cost down, kinda like how Chrysler did with MB parts.
