I think it's more along the lines of "women are socially conditioned to ignore sexual urges and look for a husband instead of a hookup."

Or maybe men don't date women of the age they're most 'sexually interested in' because they have standards and priorities to pursue in a partner other than what their dick wants. There seems to be an assumption here that men would all only go after women in their twenties if they would only reciprocate their interest,

This just sounds like women have more realistic preferences for their partners' ages. There's reallllly not a ton of 20-something women falling all over themselves to date 50 year old men- most people end up with someone close to their age.

So basically, women have more realistic expectations, thus their expectations are more frequently realized.

I've always looked older than I appear, which has its own faults (getting hit on by men who assume you're legal when you're in fact still 14 is not pleasant), but I can understand how the other way sucks, too. My roommate still looks 19 so whenever we go out she's always carded (and then I get carded, just in case,

I posted these in another thread, but I have to say it again. I wish someone would point out to Sparks that men have been writing romance novels for years. There are quite a few Mills & Boon/Harlequin writers who are men using female pseudonyms. There's even a husband and wife team who write Harlequin Blaze books

I might watch it on mute for James Marsden.

I will watch this when it's on Netflix because JAMES MARSDEN WILL BE EMOTING AND PROBABLY SHIRTLESS AND I LOVE HIM.

Huh. The more you know!

This is so beautiful.

Like many queer women, I like me some gay man sex on tv. (Queer as Folk, eff yeah!) This is going to be great.

Her biggest role and the most famous line from the film. It's like wanting Aaron Paul to yell, "yeah bitch!" Or Matt LeBlanc to say, "how YOU doin'?" The only reason it's offensive is because of the storyline of The Help. If the line was from a movie where she played a high-powered executive, nobody would've batted a

He just has this face that made me instantly adore him in a big-sister kind of way. (But if I were a bit younger, I'd definitely find him hot.)

another reason to support this show. I also like that the cop had his clothes off and she was fully dressed. I hope we'll be seeing more of him (and he doesn't need to talk either).
