I don't think racial preferences in dating is as bad as systematic racism or racial violence. But what's sad is you could miss out on someone really great if you're so blindly loyal to your racial preferences in dating. I know this isn't the same thing but I was prejudiced even with something as trivial as hair color.

Wow. Someone stitch this on a throw pillow for me. This is awesome.

I know! She seems witty. She's become of the women I want to be friends with next to Emma Stone, Lena Dunham and Emma Watson.

Yeah, who knew that making good, genuine conversation where you ask about a girl's interests works better than being anti-social or a perverted creep or a PUA negging jerk. Being a good conversationalist never goes out of style.

I don't see why there needs be a gigantic difference. Yes, sexual preferences based on height/breast size/weight/ a million other factors influenced by cultural messages that systemically adulate certain aesthetics over others, including yes, systemic racism that favors the aesthetic of white women (for example)

"Some white men will only date people of asian decent. Are they also considered racist?"

Me too. I certainly went through phases where I didn't think I was attracted to race A. Then a great guy of race A would come along and it prompted me to change my tune. I finally reached a point where I'm able to see a handsome guy is a handsome guy no matter his race. And that sounds corny but it's true. I was even

Since dating is not a democracy, it's not racist to have a preference for a person of similar background. But... when people say stuff like "I don't find Asian men attractive," I have to wonder, did you really need to communicate that shit to me? It's called an inner life — that's where you put those thoughts you

Faris is fabulously weird. And I don't think she's putting on a show. she's just naturally that way. She and Chris Pratt are perfect for each other. Weirdos go well together. They're like a real life Gomez and Morticia (but more colorful outfits).

I saw Barbra Streisand on the Katie show a while ago with a doctor who wanted to raise awareness about heart attacks. Unless I'm misremembering from that show, I think heart attacks might cause more deaths in women than breast cancer. Heart trouble in women can show symptoms different to the symptoms men show. But

I'm not saying straight women (or even gay men) don't watch football. It's still associated with straight dudes. Maybe I should have worded it better and said "it's still viewed/labeled as a super macho straight man's game"

Of course. This may sound really cynical but football is notorious for being super macho straight man's game. And straight men love boobies so it's easier to support breast cancer even if there are greater dangers to women's health (not to minimize breast cancer). The breast cancer research support always seemed like

Gay men and straight women, especially teenage girls, are often framed as the only ones who are catty. But some of the cattiest things I've ever heard were from heterosexual teenage boys and grown ass men who should know better.

Thanks. I'm just glad this guy finally enlightened me on why my vagina was filled with tiny chairs, tables, and beds. Finally! It all makes sense. I'll be here all night, folks!

Can you imagine seeing a grandma knitting (or crocheting?) this in public? Awesome. My life would be complete.

That's why she was great as Kat from 10 Things I Hate About You. She'll always be that character to me.

If I get to see Scott Foley shirtless again in this season of Scandal while getting to see Evan Peters strutting his stuff in American Horror Story then I will truly be in heaven. My own perverted, blissful heaven.

Heck yeah! I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't hate Mellie. It seems so easy for people to like Olivia and hate Mellie. But I like both women, I just hate the Pres. Team Jake!

Me too. It feels incestuous. I liked them as platonic friends and partners in crime. Them banging was a bridge too far for me. When they first started making out, I cringed and twisted my face in ways I never had before. Ugh, So bad. So disgusting. Why, God, Why?!

This pretty much sums up why it's problematic, IMO.
