I just switched to Verizon Fios at home, and they kind of let you do that. Their “custom TV” setup gives you your local channels then lets you choose “packs,” one of which is a “sports pack” with all the ESPN and Fox Sports channels. ESPN apparently is so freaked out that they are suing them over it.

I don’t know how much your cable bill is, but you might want to see if getting a package from the individual sports themselves would make sense. You can get a year’s worth of NFL coverage for about $150 - average price per month, $12.50. That’s more than what ESPN by itself would cost, but if your monthly cable bill…
