Why not just use air filters if they’re concerned about the air being dirty? Hasn’t this problem been solved long ago???

Door is closed. Leg is sitting where it normally would against the dead pedal. Turn the brightness down if you want to pretend like my garage is dark.

Maybe don’t buy the all-black-everything interior package if your eyes don’t work so well. Maybe understand how to exit your car in an emergency before the need arises. Some people can’t be helped.

It’s in plain sight as soon as you look down. Despite that, plenty of people own these and have no idea those handles exist. There’s a limit to how much lack of perception / incompetence / ignorance you can design around. Have to draw the line somewhere.

I don’t have an XLR, but since you asked nicely here you go my dude. FWIW that’s bolted to the factory location. It’s in plain sight from the driver’s view for me when I look down. Held the camera kinda at head perspective. While not necessarily being obvious, it’s not obscured either.

Many people use two hands to open the door from inside their cars. At the very least, it’s a two step process to release the latch and then open the door. Electric release eliminates the pulling motion. As is with the motivation for any convenience-oriented feature, you’re free to debate whether or not that Read more

Because it makes opening the door easier. Like soft close doors, it’s one of those features that seems stupid and pointless until you get used to it.

It’s not useless - it makes opening the door more convenient. You just push the door open with one hand instead of having to pull a handle while opening the door from the inside. Yeah, not a huge deal. Still nice once you get used to it. Also permits for cleaner lines on the outside of the car since you don’t have a Read more

Holy shit it’s literally a handle with red paint and a picture depicting an exit from the car. This does not leave a lot of room for misunderstanding.

You’re on the right track! Wastegates regulate the pressure feeding the turbine. Allows exhaust gas to bypass the turbo. Note how it’s routed back into the exhaust downstream of the turbo. Sometimes people will set these up with an open dump and not route them back into the exhaust. It makes a lot of noise.

I haven’t yet been pulled over for driving my track car on the street. As long as you’ve got a plate and no numbers in it, it’s still a street car. Right? Right????

It’s because the Mercs and BMWs offer a fun car to drive that’s also nice inside and the Caddies are absolute fucking squalor. Sure thing dude let me shell out 70k for a luxury sedan that has the build quality of a Kia and dependability that suggests the electronic systems were sourced exclusively to Lucas. Fuck off.
