What's a better alternative? Boyfriend / girlfriend sounds like high school or implies there's some sort of "trial" aspect to our relationship. We hope to stay together the rest of our lives.

I mean yes, I've done that in my years here too. And sometimes I find that a condescending, "I'm on to your bullshit" is helpful for the rest of us too.

There are certain commenters that, when I see their name, I automatically avoid them. I'm not saying you should do the same, but I find that it keeps my blood pressure down.

You are correct, I did not need to read this thread to understand that blaming this young man for his parent's reaction was (let's err on the side of kindness) asinine and mean-spirited at best.

Not because I'm blaming him. But because I don't understand him.

How will kids learn not to have sex if we stop God from punishing them with easily preventable cancer?

I get really excited about female celebrities who don't have children. As a childfree-by-choice woman, I still feel like a freakshow. But when famous women speak out (love you Helen Mirren!), it helps to normalize that life option a little bit more to the masses.

I'm fairly certain if I were to participate in such a challenge on FB, I would get end up cleansing my 'friends' list and my bowels in one sitting.

I did have only lady give me the cuntface once when I leaned forward to tell her kid to stop up and downing the recline every few seconds because it kept hitting me in the legs. I did tell the attendant that time because the mother didn't stop her kid at all.

I also had a kid (like 10 years old) keep kicking my seat

Yeah, that title is AWFUL.

CBS sports plans to build a block around We Need to Talk, teaming it with the informative travel program Where is This Going? and their show all about the ins and outs of college recruiting When Are You Finally Going to Commit to Something?

70 character limit on headlines, bro.

Oh I totally feel you on where the seat back hits. I'm 5'3" on a good day and they are just terrible. I guess I'm also used to sitting straight up, though - I don't lean my car seat back at all and everyone thinks I'm some kind of freak.

I find the seats are too upright and have to recline it a bit so my back and neck don't ache. It also likely has to do with being short since the headrest usually hits the top of my head instead of behind my neck. Then I fidget the entire time since my legs don't reach fully to the floor and cuts off circulation at

That whole fight is stupid. The flight attendants should've just had one of them switch seats (him, probably).

Righteous anger belongs to everyone, but looting and rioting isn't the appropriate expression of said anger. That is what I took from the eulogy.

FFS...

Starring to bump. I also don't understand this phenomenon.

" it seems that almost every guy with a gun constitutes a good guy with a gun "

Ugh, Ed Sheeran just lost major points with me. I absolutely loathe people that use the "If I had a daughter, she wouldn't do x" argument for things they don't like. It reflects the mindset that girls are still their father's property.
