I was a little younger when MK first came out (10 years old), and using live actors was one of the coolest things about it to me. Instead of cartoony drawings, theses were real human beings- murdering each other! We’re coming here after school every day! Don’t tell mom!

Truthfully, the preferred attack isn’t attacking the passwords directly. The most common breach occurs on misconfigured servers and dumping a large amount of information, including password hashes (and that’s assuming they’re properly hashed!) As such, the best password advice is to simply not use the same password

I feel like this long list of bizarrely specific podcast categories was specifically chosen to highlight everything you could make a podcast about while still excluding every podcast I listen to except one (Hardcore History). Little-known fact: “In The Air Tonight” was about when Phil Collins saw someone refuse to save Scott Stapp from drowning.

As classic film critic/historian I can verify its been a key term since at least the 1970s and birth of widespread academic criticism.

Always makes me think of one of my favourite Cheryl Tunt lines from ‘Archer’: “Don’t panic, it’s non-diagetic.”
