Sure! Honestly, your eye doctor will tell you what is best for your eyes. Most eye doctors will give you the initial screening for free. I'd ask the internet who the best in your area is and make an appointment :)

I got PRK (which is like LASIK but they remove the cornea and let the eye create a new one instead of just cutting a flap and putting it back down. They suggest it for some people based on eye type). I paid around $4k for the procedure and used flexible spending (FSA) which they took out of my account pre-tax.

Holy crap. I just recovered from a bruised tailbone and I thought the four weeks that took was bad! I can't imagine how awful it must have been going through that for two years! I'm so glad you got through it.
