EA knew and expected there to be leaks. You don’t ask everyday folks to sign NDAs and expect them all to 100% play by the rules. This is all according to plan. By doing this, EA gets to have their cake and eat it too.

Gamestop is a business and has no obligation to “help” anyone get their hands on a console. They are choosing to reward those loyal customers who sign up for their rewards program. The only "scummy" thing happening here are the scalpers.
