I dislike exclusives in any context as much as the next guy, but there’s a significant difference between buying smaller studios and funding their new exclusive projects yourself (Sony) and buying juggernaut studios so you can lock down their already dominant IPs (MS).

Kinda weird they’ll “carefully consider” a report on their anti-harassment efforts when they just investigated themselves and found absolutely no wrong doing lol. And of course he would stay on the board. People are still giving them loads of money and good press despite all we keep finding out about this company

Your PS4 must not be on long-term life-support like my girlfriend’s was. That thing couldn’t turn on without letting out a death scream from the pits of hell.

The PS5 was absolutely necessary for us haha

I hate riding a stationary bike. The joy is in being outside and seeing the world.  It’s sad that we have to make this choice - between life and joy.

Also, there is tons of bike/pedestrian specific infrastructure in Holland that just doesnt exist in this country. Im old enough to have spent time in Holland in the 70s/80s and a lot of ppl biked or skated (if it was winter) there infrastructure wasnt there. The last time i was there 6+ years ago the infrastructure

The stock market exists to be gamed, it’s gamified by design. But sure, let’s talk about shitposters on Reddit and their unreasonable attempt to force a seat at the table like that’s the issue here.

You failed to explain what the problem is with “gaming addiction” and “delinquent spending”, as those are both super vague terms. Is a 13 year old spending all their pocket money on gacha delinquent spending? Why is that bad? Why should a regulation aim to curtain how kids can blow their savings? If it’s proximity to

Always a good time to remind folks that the Puritans fled England because they were fucking insane and no one in England wanted to deal with them.

If Just Cause took itself seriously and had boring mechanics it’d be a Far Cry game.

I’m weirdly glad Kotaku wasn’t looped into the preview to allow an article like this to exist (without holding back as much).

It’s a dumb series built around shooting nameless enemies, hunting animals for their skins, taking down forts, and blowing shit up. Personally, I really don’t need it to be more than that.

The controversy:

Sorry Zack but the video you posted is just static. Are you feeling ok?

“My fellow broheimians, where is the game coverage and why is there so much politics establishing residence where aforementioned coverage should be?”

If anyone ever wondered if game publishers were banking on big game reveals to push public discourse away from whatever dumpster fire they are putting out at the moment, this message right here is your answer.

The whole point of Nintendo multiplayer games, specially Mario Kart, IS the constant ruthless betrayal of love and friendship

I absolutely bought a Pro subscription in order to get access to the PS5 sale. Which I managed to get today, and now I don’t have to spend any more weeks trying to get it from other retailers. Worth the $15, to me.

Yeah, I don’t see them decrying Amazon for having deals for Prime subscribers on Prime day or whatever.  But when GS does it is is scummy.

Exactly. Company offers perk to those who have a paid subscription for perks. How dare they?

Because scalping is apparently far less scummy than adding additional gates for bots to take advantage of stock shortages, according to kotaku. It's definitely one of those "let's shit in everyone's cheerios" kind of mornings here
