Weirdly I was just watching Footloose this past weekend and found out his sister Lori plays the preacher’s daughter/protagonist’s love interest, I didn’t realize they were related. (Also she played cello professionally.)

I was thinking “this is really well shot and looks super expensive” but it didn’t really get me emotionally like a lot of the other episodes have.

Dead Milkmen, “Watching Scotty Die”. (Actually I’d rather hear maybe “Beach Party Vietnam”)

Vulture had an article about it and interviewed her, they did have the full makeup and prostheses for dress (sometimes they actually put the dress versions in the re-runs so they try to make them as much as possible like the live one).

Wasn’t he in Season 2 of Loki? I don’t know, I was looking at my phone.

RIP Melanie.

First time I’ve seen anything about Luck be a Landlord — my kid got it on Steam and it might be the game I’ve opened the most (because you can usually play it in about 15-20 minutes) this year. Not a ton of depth to it but it’s a neat idea.

The text of this review makes it seem like an okay but not great episode, but a D+ grade suggests a really bad episode. (I thought it had a couple of pretty decent sketches and Momoa was mostly fine. I liked the short monologue.)

I cannot believe that standup comedy is not a completely accurate retelling of actual events that occurred in real life! What is next, sitcoms not being true? Are they going to start making movies about things that didn’t happen??

I cleverly watched it yesterday so I’d have Friday for Spider-Man 2. (seriously, the first game I’ve played on launch day I think ever...)

I feel like you are leaving out how often he grunts or otherwise makes noises with his lips staying closed.

My kid dressed up as Herbert West last Halloween -- most people in their high school did not get it.

Near Dark is great but feels more like an action movie/thriller with vampires than a horror movie.

I thought he was going for the spaghetti behind the counter.

Best performer in that sketch was the balsamic dressing container for keeping itself vertical and on the table for so long.

Mean, but also kind of amusing (I love Notaro though and she is so not Jeanne Darcy...)

Yes, I hadn’t heard his music before and assumed from the name he was a rapper. I didn’t exactly love his stuff but it was kind of interesting and I liked it more than I usually like rap.

A local arcade has one of those up and running.

Not sure that’s really possible considering she’s a second generation “nepo baby”.

I thought she was *really* stiff seeming in the monologue but not bad for most of the rest of the show...maybe the jingle board room sketch too, I bet the style in the Waffle House sketch was an acting choice. (It was my favourite sketch too.)
