Literally had to grit my teeth to make it through that paragraph.

Yes, something weird is going on here -- this reviewer has been super hard on okay to middling decent episodes and then slams this recent one which was pretty bad overall (and Woody was way worse than I expected him to be -- he was pretty good in the fat suit sketch though.)

It went over my head watching at home...I kind of see it now though.

I’m old but I like her — maybe it’ll get repeated too much but stuff like the googly eyes sketch and her anti-Colin Jost bits on update have been fun.

“Black Jeopardy” with Jordan playing Killmonger would actually have been pretty cool.

This recent one was *so* intrusive that for a few seconds I almost thought it was going to be some weird new character entering, like maybe Death in a black robe. (It does seem that the camera is pointing at the wrong person more often than it used to -- maybe I’m just noticing it more.)

Thanks, I was hoping someone would say this.

“Hardware Store” is amazing.

It (“Skipper Dan”) almost feels like it’s about his own life.

He stole the idea from Peacemaker.

Yeah, that is like a look at the machine behind the scenes, I like it when they let those bits go over the air.

It wasn’t the ability to detect the lie that was out of character, it was the obvious “don’t ask me how, I just know” when Matt is usually a lot more subtle about keeping his powers secret.

Yes, I was glad to see them go so hard on the fourth-wall breaking, like the Byrne run of the comics did (but adapted for TV/streaming in a way that I thought worked well).

Yeah even without this review I would have thought that was a bad decision. It *might* have enough for like a 3 hour movie or one of those old 2-part TV mini-series they used to do.

The “don’t ask me how, I just know” was so out of character for the Netflix Daredevil that it was hilarious.

Yes, ‘shiv’. source: I work in a library. (Also I had the subtitles on.)

Wow, good thing he discovered that completely lost pilot all by himself where it was stored -- in the dang library. Can we please credit the work of librarians and archivists some times?

You would if it means you have to share the money it makes.

This would be a good reason to start playing The Sims again.
