I don’t follow any of these Nick shows, and yet somehow I’ve been hearing stories about Dan Schneider for years, maybe close to a decade by now. How is this still being written about in circumlocutions like it’s a hush-hush, inner-circle type thing?
She’s talking about the fat guy from Head of the Class, right?
I appreciate that the podcast has been fairly even handed. I was kind of expecting it just to be “Wow, this show was great!” but there have actually been some decent insights into what it was like growing up on the show.
A Different World! She was such a great presence on that show.

RIP to one of my favourite actors of all time.
I’ll start this by saying that anyone is free to feel insulted by whatever they feel insulted by. But I - an Asian-American living in a third world country - really think this criticism is stretching a bit.
His two big Trek roles, Chancellor Gorkon and Gul Madred are absolutely perfect and even his minor Federation diplomat in ST V is memorable as he’s the only Federation member who is still chain-smoking hahaha

You know what, we really don’t.

Look can we all agree that Babylon 5 and Deep Space Nine were both good shows, and that there may have been some cross-pollination of ideas, but that in the end, DS9 is just absolutely superior to everything?
Is this the stealth sequel to ...
once again i am baffled as to why someone chose to say something when they had the absolutely freedom to just say nothing
That hug (you know the one) breaks me every time I see it.
