I thought driving through Illinois around Chicago was bad, but Indiana/northern Kentucky were worse. I can’t list how many times I was cut up by someone going 20 miles over, usually some giant pick-up.

It isn’t red states and blue states. It’s rural vs suburban vs urban. That picture of the US with all the counties colored either red or blue has twisted people’s perceptions of the political make up f certain areas.

The success of The Mandalorian and Andor would be arguments against the thesis of this article. It isn’t about the franchise belonging in one story format or the other, it’s about that story itself.

No, they aren’t. They are perfectly acceptable movies for kids, and occasionally have jokes that hit for adults. I don’t understand what the author of this article is going for, except to be negative for the sake of it. But that’s what the internet is these days.

There are always ways to turn a controversial subject or character into a good conversation, so I’ll reserve judgement until I see it.

I don’t remember a thing about Shrek 3 or 4, but Shrek 2 is miles better than the original.

I’ll just wait for Quentin Tarantino’s Pet Rock movie.

So when will JK end up being interviewed on Fox News? Or did that happen already?

You calling them “crotch fruit” makes me understand why you would complain about the price.

We only go see movies during cheaper matinees and with coupons for snacks and drinks. The theater experience watching the movie is still worth going, IMO, because there is a feeling you get watching the big screen and hearing the surround sound that doesn’t get replicated at home. But the regular price cost for an

I would have wanted a sequel before Brooks’ movies became rather terrible. Men in Tights isn’t really watchable anymore, despite some good one-liners. Spaceballs will always be super quotable, but there is better satire out there.

Who actually plans on using the Cybertruck as a pick-up to haul things? It’s a status symbol. Like the people who buy off-road vehicles that will never allow a spot of mud on them.

I feel the same. It’s definitely early 2000s CGI work, but for that, it works so well. Alec Newman really travels the full way from a petulant teen Paul to the grizzled Preacher.

It’s a very interesting movie. If you can imagine that it’s a Dune-like sci fi epic, and not directly based on the book, it’s a good space opera. Every other version of Dune is superior story wise.

I prefer his run as a carrot. The orange complexion was perfect for complementing Trump.

Instead of “making copiesssss”, it’s now “making Naziiiissssss”.

I’ve always found his voice incredibly grating, so apart from a few of the catchier songs from 20-ish years ago, I will switch stations. I can at least recognize he has/had talent, but that was years ago. He’s just annoying now and just another example of white people feeling the need to punch down for the sake of

Garfield is terrible. I say that having had to take my child to see it. I’m absolutely tired of Chris Pratt in anything.

The Trump rule of law (or lack thereof) has made it impossible to hold politicians accountable unless they are Democrats. Then Republicans go full tilt in trying to punish them.

The sequel trilogy is leaps and bounds ahead of the prequels, at least in terms of some of the action. There is little redeeming value from the prequels.
