I don’t want to overstate this but, this is amazing news! I introduced my teenage son to B&B a year ago and although still funny, it’s nothing like the riffing on the videos. I set my expectations in life very low so that I’m not constantly disappointed but this really, truly makes me happy!

George Lucas did not serve his actors well in the prequels. It’s astonishing that a cast with Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Christopher Lee comes off so lifeless. The character of Anakin Skywalker as written in the prequels is deeply annoying, but I’m not sure Christensen honestly…

I know I’m in the minority as a liker of Temple of Doom, but I’ve never heard anything resembling the criticism that movie gets directed at Last Crusade. That was a real head-shake line for me too. 

I don’t get Rise of Skywalker hate. Sure, the Emperor still being alive was a stretch, but it was fairly enjoyable and seemed to make sense as a way to end things (though Kelly Marie Tran got screwed, talk about Star Wars racism!!)

It’s interesting.

Matrix Resurrections (which is still way better than Revolutions, woof) fails in the same way that Rise of Skywalker fails: By not trusting its audience to want anything more than the greatest hits with modern special effects and actors.

But Crystal Skull fails, in part, because it honestly doesn’t…

Not the point. People always look at the money being paid and say “what are you complaining about?”  What they’re complaining about is that Hulu/Disney stands to make millions and millions off of toys, licensing, theme parks, etc...and the cast is the major reason why the show works.  More than likely, Hulu low-balled…

I don’t hate MacFarlane and think he has talent (as well as coming off as a reasonably smart person in most interviews I’ve seen of him), but to say the guy hasn’t slummed for some very cheap, lazy, lowest common denominator jokes throughout his career (too many to count, really) would just be a lie.

Mr Rogers was so good and kind and lived it 24/7 that of course cancer had to eat him alive and take him from us far too soon. The man was the very def of a unicorn.
