By saying adaptations should make changes for the sake of making changes then that means the source material is poor and you’re a better writer so be grateful of these changes.

For me the finale had the opposite effect and lost all my good will they built specifically because of how they implemented the Flood.

I’ve never read the novel so how different is the original movie? Was Ende’s hate warranted?

You’re really just complaining for the sake of complaining. They’re not throwing away season 1 and starting from scratch they have to deal with the stuff brought up in season 1.

The reason why Mando doesn’t take his helmet off is because it’s a cultural thing. There is no reason for Master Chief to never take off his helmet. His helmet comes off a lot in the secondary material.

It’s such a big deal because the people who are whining about it have never read any of those secondary material.

I don’t remember if she got the tracker when she first came to the pirate place but the last time we saw her in the previous season she was teleported into some Forerunner area that we haven’t been told about yet.

Hate to break it to you but Master Chief takes his helmet off in the Halo universe there’s more then just the games. The only reason they keep his helmet on in the games is because it saves them money.

You clearly didn’t read what they said because they followed that statement up with acknowledging the issues in season 1.

No we got badly written backstory instead of the great true to the source backstory. The details revealed in the novels were far better then what was told in the show.

Well the shows version of the Ellie and Joel relationship isn’t as strong as the games version so they’ll need a couple of episodes to build it up before they kill Joel off. I can see Abby’s backstory being the Long, Long Time episode for season 2 before they make it the turning point.

Just a daily reminder that people don’t understand how many gamers there are.

I think this move shows that Lucasfilm will not produce more then 2 live action shows for Disney+ a year. This year we get Skeleton Crew and Acolyte, next year we get Andor season 2 and either Acolyte or Ahsoka, and after that will be the show that didn’t come out and then something new to replace Andor.

They do cover it but only as a we can’t go into the details type of thing. It becomes a bigger plot point for season 2.

It wasn’t just a biographical about Julia but it was also about the Public Television channel. I was hoping they would do time jumps so we could get the creation of Sesame Street and Bob Ross. I enjoyed the Mr. Rogers cameo in the first season.

Just based on the low end that movies have made this past year they would still make a profit and it would be far more then what they would have gotten from Disney+ so it really wouldn’t matter if this becomes a huge success or not. The primary goal is to get 150 million off of Disney+’s books, prime a wider audience

Those same studios weren’t already spending movie budgets on those shows in the first place so that reasoning does not apply here.

Any money they would get from the box office would be more money they would see from the Disney+ sub.

Turning a show into a movie is much easier then creating a movie from scratch considering they already have sets, props, and scripts to work with.

Well lucky for you they ended season 3 in a way that the movie would be a good jumping on point for people who never watched the show.
