It is still unfathomable to me that we’re getting a Masters of the Universe animated series targeted specifically to 40-year-olds

Having not read the comics, my main question coming out of the finale is how in the hell could the humans possibly win? The show has strongly implied that Viltrumites, at least once their full-grown, are basically invincible.  I assume that at some point it is revealed that they have some kind of Kryptonite-like…

I can’t stand him as a person. But I will say he can be great in the RIGHT role. That role is NEVER a leading man, because of exactly what you said. He can’t do subtle to save his life.

This fully tracks to me. I work in a bookstore, and we have a gaggle of teens that come in that are OBSESSED with anything Bardugo even touches. But, being teens, they’re very persnickety about things like covers of series changing halfway through, casting choices, etc.

WB was pretty high on the idea of Snyder being the architect of their cinematic universe, in a position much like where Marvel had Joss Whedon in Phase 1. I’m sure the whole branding idea originated with him, and WB basically backed his play.

Dude worked on Rise of Skywalker, BvS, and Justice League. Pretty sure he’s just piling on now that Whedon is a convenient scapegoat.
