I don’t disagree with any of this.. He’s one of the if not the smartest player in the game. I’m just saying he’s not getting as tired as centers who battle it out in gritty areas. No chirps. Just respect. 

I know McDavid gets an insane amount of ice time.. but he’s far from a two-way center... How much of that shift was he floating around? Not a normal 1:19 shift for a center that’s fighting in the corners.
