Bottom line: if LucasArts were profitable, they wouldn't be shutting it down. While Disney is the parent company, the Lucas Film division is run on its own. Much like Pixar is run on its own. Year's before Disney put Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, they had a version of it at Disneyland. They ran a really great stage version at California Adventure that was only about an hour. I don't doubt Disney's ability to get it to Broadway.
