Never - here is why, considered it for all of 5 minutes for wife’s last car, go try to find a windshield for it. No serious, go try... I’ll wait.... So ya, the first time that puppy cracks, you are screwed. From the forums I saw, a few guys were trying to get extras and store them for that fateful day....

Before I learned to drive stick back in HS, I was working at Best Buy installing mobile audio/security stuff. I can’t count how many customer cars I had to get in/out of the bay when no one else was there and I had no clue what I’m doing...

True story, random back road on the way home, guy has a minimum 20 PT cruisers, maybe more, in his yard in various state of disassemble and wreckage... No clue what he does with them but this has gone on for years, steady inventory turn also... Gotta get a pic....

Its a great car for the money. We went cpo and managed under 25k and got .9% financing and a year of complementary maintenance. First oil change they arranged a loaner so i didnt have to wait and were extremely professional throughout the whole transaction. So far very pleased. If you are still looking use the free

This - just picked up a ‘13 MKZ - OMG it’s awesome. Where else can you get a panaromic sunroof large enough to cannonball into from the deck, heated AND cooled seats, heated steering wheel, self parking, massaging seats, and boost, errr ecoboost. Good times.... Seriously it rides like an old man car, has a “sport”

Live in KY, have bought cars/trucks in Kansas, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Tennessee Illinois, Michigan. Most recent was a a toyota in kansas 2 years ago. They had 0% in that region, had a crap load of stock to clear, beat local dealers by 2k in price AND 0%, was a no brainer. 1 way cheapy ticket, they met me at airport

If they can’t make the CVT’s work reliably in the 2013+ Altima, no way am I letting them drive me around town.... (previous owner, thank god for lemon law, sorry for poor bastards still dealing with it on the altima forums)....

Toyota FJ Cruiser. 07s and 8s maybe 9s will be in range.

Crazy - was in a parade in Walton, KY today for the boyscouts, saw a guy driving one of these, noticed the ASC Mclaren in the front/rear bumper and wondered what the hell it was... now I know! guys car was super clean so he must know what he’s got!

That actually saved me recently. The onslaught of cheap, off-lease Lincoln MKZ’s, but ones with pretty much every option, nice wheels, heated/cooled seats, panoramic roof, etc are flying off the dealer lots. Seriously, I’ve looked within 300 miles and there have been 10, most are sold by the time I call (the first day

I love the picture caption “design looks like it was done by GM or in Italy”.... Ya because a Chevy Sunfire and an Italian sports car damn near confuse me every time.....

I just almost sold them my car. I took their offer, but at a dealer that was closer. It was more than fair. My car was 2 years old, 53k miles but didn’t have a door ding on it, didn’t need tires, brakes etc, and the interior inside/out looked new. Frankly I think they, and the dealer that actually bought it for that

Yes - I had them make the note that nissan bought mine back, I actually had to send them the paperwork to prove it... They never did note it was a lemon, just a manufacturer buyback...

My 2013 altima was also bought back for tranny problems. They also attempted to fix rust on the trunk, and damaged the whole rear of the car and repainted it without telling me, I noticed because when they reinstalled the super pointy tail lights they chipped the paint on both sides. The car was a POS, they broke more

Custom 6spd Nissan Spec-V manual swap into a 2002 Infiniti G20 that was automatic. I yanked the auto tranny, cut the hole for the clutch pedal/cylinder assby, sourced rare japanese parts etc. The hard part, and first time ever thing for me was taking apart the 6spd tranny to swap the bellhousing (it was not just a

They hydrogen will generate electric for the normal hybrid tech they have in the Prius today. So regen braking will feed back into the small on board battery pack and yes it will be able to reuse that energy. I’m assuming a small pack like the Prius C.

18k for my 2013 Prius C brand new. 2yrs and 54k miles later, never been back to the dealer, average 55+mpg, and my back roads trip to work nets me 65-70mpg and home 52-58. It may not be a fast/sporty/pretty car, but it gets the job done.

KY does this right - you keep the title but it’s stamped with a lien. All you need is a letter from the bank to release it. Cuts the time down on waiting on the actual title and if the bank is local they’ll release it there on the spot. That sucks though!

Thanks - was an installer and worked at a large oem/aftermarket when I started in my career. Remote start went from cool factor to a must have when we had kids. Never put them in a freezing or burning up car now....

Which is funny because in my state there is no law on age to stay home alone after school. So 9yr old in a car where im within a few hundred feet and controls in place is illegal vs him home alone for hours until I get home from work. Gotta lover merica. I know which i would do and its not the house!
