Amen. Eating lunch at 11 makes the afternoon last roughly 57 hours.
I late lunch too because it is far less crowded. I try to go around 2:30 so that when I get back from lunch I only have 1.5 hours left of work (I have to take an hour). If I can make it to lunch my day is pretty much over, I don’t really eat that much, either. Just hang out and play on my phone.

I remember when I was young my grandma would always say ‘ you’ll never meet a man and have kids if you do (insert terrible thing I did to offend her sensibilities)‘ and I would always say ‘So, I don’t care about that!’ And she would tell me I would all wise and knowing.
I’m convinced that this is why some parents are so rabid about hounding child-free folks to reproduce. It honestly never occurred to them that not having kids was an option, and they don’t want someone else to “get away with it”.
It does not get the love it deserves.
