New Blitzen Trapper today. It’s no Destroyer of the Void, but it’s not bad either.

It’s not Pittsburgh’s fault! I’d rather they just set it in Pittsburgh than try to pass it off as another city.

Also, TBH I think the PG-13 is one of the better things about it. I think Rogen is great but I don’t really understand his obsession with making so many of his movies hard R. This movie would not be improved

There’s not a fight.

needlessly shitty and snarky

Apologies for the delay between SketcHistory interviews; it took me that long to find my pen.

I’m sorry we attacked you. Can we buy you a Gas Station Pizza?

Hard g:

Yeesh that header pic, what am I a dentist?

I didn’t drive out anywhere fancy to see it but I saw it with my dad (as I saw all of them) and that in and of itself is the memory. I would have been 7 and my sister 5 when we saw this. We went to a walk-in in a nearby city and stood in line for tickets. We were so excited.  I remember dropping and breaking my dad’s

Special effects back then were still very much hit and miss — Alien was great but Star Trek was a step behind and Moonraker was probably worse than Airplane, which obviously wasn’t even trying.

My dad was the same, he made sure we saw it on the biggest screen possible. We got to the theater a bit late and would have missed the first 5 minutes, so he took us to an arcade to pass the time until the next showing so we wouldn’t miss anything. My 12-year-old self was sooo happy. RIP, dad.

Did you get a bit of vertigo during the snow speeder swoops? I remember feeling a bit of an IMAX effect during the sequence when the snow speeders were out looking for Luke and Han. It was pretty cool.

I had a similar experience with Empire. I was 11 and would have been happy to see it anywhere, but my dad drove us over 2 hours to watch it in a big theater in the Chicago suburbs. And he was not a film buff or a sci-fi fan: he just loved Star Wars.

“The Braaaains! The Braaaains!”

And they say journalism is dead...

Max, that's FANTASTIC work. Well done.

What i can’t understand is, why he’d specifically exclude those whose Mercury, Jupiter or Saturn are in their respective Houses of Debilitation, yet not give a freaking fig about those of Venus (the planet governing relationships), the Moon (the planet governing sanity) or the Sun (who governs the soul, destiny, etc).

He looks like an LA Noire character that all correct responses are doubt or lie. So a super asshole.

Vaguely related, not trying to thread-jack: I’m late to the party and I’ve been dipping my toe into the brackish radioactive waters of Fallout 4 (PS4 version). I have many, many opinions on it—my original unfinished version of this post was VERY long—but I’ll try to keep it brief (since I’m sure I’m not the first to

The whole thing is just so petty, narcissistic, and immature.
