I noticed you wrote wealth, and not class. There is a difference between wealth and class and the books like “Class” describe/define that difference.

Soapbox... As someone with a horrible family history of colon cancer, get your preventative colonoscopies (if you can afford it, obviously)! Too many people are putting them off because they’re “icky.” So is death and leaving your loved ones behind! My dad, his siblings, and Chris (in the story) all had colon cancer

I personally know about a guy who didn’t have insurance because my stupid state didn’t expand Medicaid. He ignored the signs of being pretty sick because his only option was the ER and he’d already been there a lot recently and couldn’t afford it.

She should have arranged the elements so the first letter spelled, I am a geek.

DH, DD, and DS boil my blood and made Etiquette Hell unreadable. Notice how there’s never any DW? Barf.

And “preggers.” All are usually said by the same people.

And all those acronyms for pregnancy boards and the like: DH, DS, DD (dear hubby, son and daughter), LO (little one) and a bunch of others I can’t be assed to remember.

See also: “kiddos”

And wifey!

Does anyone else irrationally hate the word “hubby” to a disconcerting degree?

“the ultimate form of child abuse.”

I live in a weed legal state and was always sort of meh on weed until I started smoking concoctions with 1:1 THC to CBD. They just make me relaxed and chill and happy without all the weirdness that my body doesn’t like.

I hate it too. It’s so disappointing to hate it.

I was worried as soon as she won the nomination. I (like you) never thought that she would actually lose to Trump. But seeing her win the nomination by taking all the red states that she could never possibly win in the general while losing most of the swing states to Bernie was a bad sign.

I got nervous when I never heard from her campaign. I live in a swing state, have been active in politics (including running a canvassing operation for Obama), and actually was a statewide delegate for Bernie. And yet I never got a single call from her campaign asking me to volunteer or even vote.

I was shocked that she lost, but upon reflection, two things stuck out to me:

Poor Scott. He must have years of built up anger over the hand he’s been dealt.

I live in a country riddled with horrible criminals.

Pardon my info dump.
