Yes, yes they are.
Yes, yes they are.
I looked at this in the past and it wasn’t that far apart. Average mileage in the UK is going down though.
It’s on the MID database. Police will also call insurance companies to verify- it can take a few days for records to update for example.
Both of mine are fully comp policies, so that covers my car as well as any third party damage up to £20M, which seems to be a standard figure. We’ve got the same problem (but to a lesser extent) surrounding injury claims, though I think that might be tightening up now.
I hadn’t realised car insurance was so expensive in the US. I’m paying a lot less than that for both my current cars. 2002 MR2 for £500 and a 2004 Ignis Sport for £300ish. Without No claims bonus for the MR2 either. People go on all the time about how expensive it is in the UK too.
The same applies in Europe. Depending on the country the cars are a lot cheaper too.
The E class also has the worldwide sales, they sell a lot more than 50k a year. Lincoln doesn’t have that.
That’s what I was thinking. It’s like the Honda Jazz/Fit, not a first car, but a last car.
More difficult to find though.
Lots of smaller cars were moving away from diesel even before VW got caught. Too expensive and increasingly complicated for cheap cars.
You’re listing buying Fireworks as a freedom point? You’ve not been over on the New Year then...
In some places, quite a lot. It’s not the deepest snow I’ve seen here but it’s not usually drifted as much. It’s been colder too, so grit has been less effective. This is the main road in to my village after we spent yesterday clearing it- been out again today so the Dairy tanker and Egg truck can get in.
You can get a RWD master, but that’s stretching the definition of Car a bit.
How do you use a flatbed to pick up a car that’s parallel parked? That’s a more common incident.
My family are farmers. They’ve had several side by sides (Kawasaki, AUSA etc), and got fed up of the poor quality and unreliability of them. Last year they bought a £900 Jimny (I drove it home actually) with some chunky tyres on and it’s been much better than the UTVs. The plan is to convert it to a pickup like these…
The wrangler is massive compared to the Jimny.
Road legal for the U.K., so should be for the rest of the EU as well. It’s fairly simple to meet the requirements for low volume vehicles.
Nice to see ASBO orange making a return. Also, the UK price will be the otr price, including all taxes.
