Lol. Very refreshing to see somebody come in with a valid critique of the MeToo movement. I’m a woman with my own share of uncomfortable experiences and I quickly grew fatigued and, sometimes, annoyed by the tenor of MeToo conversations. Nuance matters and it seems that it was almost immediately declared anathema to…
He’s a real jerk
The first time I read it, I read it as "picture of a man with 14 penises in his mouth". And I though huh, that's actually pretty impressive logistically.
In case anyone wants to know what the “gross” injury is without watching the video: his vocal cords were bleeding.
“David Byrne thought his suit should’ve been bigger in the film.”

They’re not the most exciting duo to be at the center of this thrilling adventure, though they’re at least more interesting than an attorney who defended child slavery making it out of Burning Man, but that does at least make this more funny.

Some HUGE omissions from the list: Dave Chappelle, Louis CK, Bill Burr, Demetri Martin, Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer...probably a few others I’m forgetting about right now. Not sure who I’d take off this list, but at the very least my first 3 should be in there.
Maybe there’s something else I’m missing here, but I don’t think that clearly establishing boundaries and expressing your wishes and desires counts as being emotionally abusive, even if those boundaries and wishes aren’t something the other person agrees with, or even something most people would agree with. Almost…
“Any time you notice Carrie texting Samantha, a wizard did it.”
Yeah, the outrage seems pretty dumb here. I mean, if it’s just anti-capitalism I get it, but with all the other sins of capitalism to choose from, that they’re choosing to get upset that the subscription service is making people pay for their service just makes them look like a selfish baby.
The twins seem like pretty private people, so maybe he should have mercy and cut it out.
“I was angry for a minute that the two people who absolutely didn’t need the cash had no interest in doing this thing the rest of us were doing just for the cash."
