Ooooh, Dark Souls. I’m at the shitty part of Anor Londo and I’m almost into uncharted territory (though I don’t remember exactly how much further I’ve been into the game). I got shot off the ledge by those god damned archers so many times last night, and bailed after a relatively short session. But I will continue

Now that AC Valhalla is done, it’s time to get back to Yakuza: Like a Dragon. This is the first Yakuza game I’ve played, and I really enjoy it. I feel like not enough has been talked about how this game treats homelessness. I really love how these characters are seen, and the pretty real world things they have do to

Dammit, I came in here to drop that Shirley Henderson knowledge!

Brag away, I'm envious. I'm saving up to get a PS5 this winter.

Now playing

I mentioned last week that I began working as the video editor for Thea Trinidad (FKA Zelina Vega in WWE) and her relaunched Youtube gaming channel, and happy to say it’s been a great success so far. Between last Saturday’s debut ep and yesterday’s, both have a combined total of 10,000 views, which is pretty awesome

Hitman 3. I got it up & running with all the stuff from the prior two games loaded in last night, but only got through the first mission once before I had to do other things around the house. Looking forward to getting to spend some time with it. We’re supposed to get snow Saturday night/Sunday, so there won’t be much

I’m not playing it this weekend, but I am super excited that I scored a PS5 order from Best Buy yesterday! Store pickup on Wednesday and I already have copies of Miles Morales and DIRT5 waiting, lol. Not trying to brag, just thought I wouldn’t be able to snag one til February at the earliest, so I am happy with the luc

Same thing I do every weekend; paint. I started work on one of my dragons, and since the wife claimed the other one as her own project we might have a joint painting session at the kitchen table this weekend. I have very few vampires left, which means I’ll have to get back to painting futuristic super-soldiers at some

Finished up with a re-run of Sleeping Dogs earlier this week, on the same day that I was watching a streamer do a first time blind playthrough of Undertale, which instantly made me want to play Undertale again. So I grabbed Undertale for the PS4 and Vita and started a brand new game. It’s like a warm blanket and a mug

Im not really sure what im going to play this weekend. Probably just Animal Crossing, AC Valhalla, and Tetris. I'm approaching the end for AC Valhalla with only 3 zones to go, and I can't find anymore goddamn linen. I also hit a trigger that spoiled the identity of The Father (not like you cant figure out who it is,

Probably gonna mop up some gems in Crash 4 before I move on, just to experience a few more of the “N-verted” levels.

Finishing up Ghost of Tsushima’s side quests to get another plat. I honestly enjoyed Norio’s and Masako’s side stories more than Jin’s main story.

Easily one of my favorite games of the last gen. This is one of those times where the reviewers of the blogs I frequent just utterly missed the mark. This game left a lasting impression on me and I find myself thinking about it pretty frequently months after I put it down.

GoT was my GOTY for 2020. It wasn’t perfect, but damn was it fun and well supported. Sucker Punch has provided a ton of QoL updates like gear sets, and the coop was unexpected surprise. Hoping we get another game in this universe on the PS5 in a year or two.

Yeah, I haven’t messed around with any covenants in this. I should probably look this stuff up. I might be hamstringing myself.

I could totally google it, but what even are those tokens for? I got one in Dark Souls 1 and it seems like a currency, but I don’t remember there being anything like that in the game? It’s been so long since I played 3 that I don’t really remember it there, either, but I assume there are more options and systems at

More painting, honestly. I’ve just been really enjoying painting feral vampires lately. *shrug* We were discussing good pick-up games at the club and somebody mentioned Ravenfeast, so now I’m fighting the urge to buy a bunch of skeletons in lieu of vikings. I already have three armies in progress, I don’t need a

Nothing but a little rest. Heading into 2021, I was hired as the video editor for Thea Trinidad (FKA Zelina Vega in WWE)‘s revamped Youtube gaming channel that goes live this weekend, so it’s been a lot of tireless working and some sleepless nights getting content ready. It’s been a daunting but wonderful opportunity

I’m working through Ghost of Tsushima (finally) and checked out Torchlight III on the Series X (Gamepass) last night. Seemed fine. Seemed like Torchlight. I’ve got plenty left to do in Ghost and also have Horizon: Zero Dawn waiting in the wings. Got plenty to do until they (maybe?) fix Cyberpunk and I give it another

Still chipping away at everything I was last week: Deep Rock Galactic, Ys VIII, Enter the Gungeon, Dark souls.

In DS, I poked around Darkroot Garden a bit, finished Blighttown, and now I’m in Sen’s Fortress. I haven’t played in a few days because I needed a break from the intensity. I think I’m gonna try to get through
