I’m play Remnant too! One thing to note about the level up system is that you get new powers and abilities based on weapons and mods you find in the world, not spending skill points. Each boss drops a unique weapon or ability mod, and a lot of the bosses/quests can be completed in multiple ways to unlock a different

Barrett, believe it or not, is VASTLY toned down from the original. Tifa is like the Emo Cheerleader that wants to be supportive, but she’s low-key a huge ball of emotions and aggression. When Tifa really drops her guard and shows her true colors she’s a fucking BADASS.

As much Disco Elysium as possible. I don’t entirely get what’s going on, but I’m enjoying it a lot. I somehow managed to catch a cold this week (maybe from my friends’ two year old?), which meant I had to get a covid test, which meant I had to stay home from work while I waited for results (negative, thankfully),

I rolled credits on Persona 5 Strikers earlier this week, then cleaned up the post-game requests and smashed The Reaper shortly after, and launched a NG+ Merciless game yesterday to wrap up some trophies. I’ll probably keep speeding through that this weekend, and eventually gauge my interest in grinding for loot drops

Still plugging away at the Outriders campaign. I think I’m almost done based on how the map is filled out and the fact that I’m level 23 or 24. It’s been cool and I look forward to doing some endgame grinding. Hopefully that hits this weekend.

The gear really seems to ramp up in frequency as the game progresses. I find

Still plugging away at The Outer Worlds. Still solidly in the “fine” column. I had originally focused my character on long guns, but I got tired of running out of ammo so I switched to melee. My melee stats were way neglected so I’ve had to spend a couple of levels getting them up to snuff. At least I had some OP end

the characters are starting to grow on me, even the more annoying ones

Unfortunately, the time for games will be next to nothing this weekend. I found out my test voucher run out at the end of the month instead of June like I thought. So this week and next have been full of cramming to try and pass.

Right now I’d say I’m primarily playing Hades on Switch. I held out for a physical version so I’m just getting to the game now, but yeah I see why it got all the hype. Really loving the game. Tight gameplay, great art and music, and I’m really liking the writing and how the story is presented. Haven’t had any

Might finally start Ghost of Tsushima’s New Game+. I Platinum’d the game a long time ago then stopped playing games for a while.

Well, it was going to be Outriders, but I’m playing on PC and I ran into a few different issues last night before giving up. My HUD wouldn’t always load and I had a couple other graphics issues. By the time I seemed to get everything sorted, I couldn’t connect to the servers. Rather than waste my whole night messing

Welcome back to the posts Riley! Last weekend was so busy. Got the room painted, planer set up (but not tuned yet), and a few games played. I have a lot of games on my plate right now. I'm on chapter 11 of Yakuza: Like A Dragon, but recently also got Monster Hunter Rise and Dungeon Defenders Awakened. Combined with

Last weekend I finished the ten runs required to finish the story mode in Hades. Fantastic game, although in retrospect feels like the story was stretched a little thin to justify the magic number. Anyways, glad I bought it. Don’t know if I’ll go back and play more runs when there’s other games on the horizon or in

Maybe I’ll finally start making progress in Days Gone and Cyperpunk? But probably not. I’m finishing up a stretch of home projects, including finally painting the living room so it’s no longer the vomity putty beige color that was on almost every single wall and ceiling in the house when we moved in (and there’s still

It’s not so much about stuff getting left out; but I can’t tell you the reason without major spoilers.

Did you skip the original? Bad move, Remake kinda depends on it (because nothing’s ever simple with Square Enix).

My physical copy of Hades arrived last Friday, so I’ve been chipping away at it for the past week. Fantastic game, and 100% deserves all the accolades that it has received (and should have received). I don’t like rogue-likes but Hades does so many things to fix the typical “git gud” issues that I’m thoroughly enjoying

I’m doing a new game plus play through of Xenoblade 2 (incredible game), and I’m playing Dark Souls III for the first time after playing Demon’s Souls remake and Dark Souls Remastered recently (also an incredible game so far).

First off, because it’s obligatory:

I have been playing this game lately after no playing it for roughly 10 months and it is very good, I know some people hated it but its a really great game
