Maybe I will push a little further along then. My choices to level my character after playing through a few levels didn’t exactly thrill me.

One disclaimer: this is the only Final Fantasy game I have ever played.
I put dozens of hours into Diablo and Diablo: 2 as a kid, so I am looking forward to getting this remaster at some point.
I got a little further in FF7R. I rode back up to the big sky pizza and faced off against Viking Metal Evil Knievel. As an antagonist, he’s pretty fun, and the whole motorcycle sequence is cool, if a little frustrating at times.
I’m trying to get back on the Outer Worlds train. I want to like it so much, but then it just kind of falls flat for me and I’m not sure why. Maybe I need to get to another area/planet outside of the intro one (assuming there are such areas).
I had a blast with Dark Souls 3 recently. I was a purist for a long time and refused to summon anyone, or be summoned, but broke my rule for DS3. I’m glad I did because it was really fun and it added about 15-20 hours to my play time, mostly in the Ringed City content. Hope you like it!
Fair. I may full-heartedly agree with you later, but I’m not too worried about it right now.
I did skip the original. I understand there are whole parts of the game that didn’t make it into the Remake but, then again, I don’t really care about the broadscale story much and think I can have fun even being decontextualized from the more overwrought plot points. (Don’t get too angry with me please.)
I didn’t play a ton of games the last two weeks. It was my friend’s 30 birthday last weekend and, with a number of our friends vaccinated and all of us taking the proper precautions, we were able to have a small get together to celebrate last weekend. It was a 90's themed party, so I got him Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2:…
Amazon is the worst.
It took almost 8 hours of play time for me to really start liking it. Getting vehicles was the big game changer for me.
Same, give me lonely space cowboy deliveries over boss fights all day. Bridges: When It Absolutely Positively has to get there Eventually.
Honestly, GoT still looks great on my Pro, but I imagine its breathtaking on the new generation. Looking forward to a replay down the road!
Took a break from video games this last week and spent some time job searching and walking around outside since the weather was nice. I did play a little Lego: Batman 2 with my partner for a couple levels. While I understand why they wanted to switch the Batmobile portions to 3D GTA-style driving, it’s a huge step…
Oh boy, hear I go hunting again!
I am nearing an end in Dark Souls 3. I won the church fight club. I beat the No Eyes Black Dragon. I made the old man pay the troll toll to get into this boy’s Dark Soul. I believe there’s one more boss to beat after I put Prince Tiny Tim’s ashes on his throne, but I feel like a conclusion is pretty earned at this…
You beat Voldemort’s Baby on the first try? Dang, respect.
I almost finished Dark Souls 3 over the week. I accidentally read about the Land o’ Dragons, missing it in the dungeon the first time around, so I went there and beat Dragon Number 1 and Dragon Letter A (with rider). I also had a blast summoning people, and being summoned, in the Grand Archives, and waging complex,…
This is a good month! I’ve never played any Final Fantasy before, but have been interested in VII with everyone being stoked about it last year. Remnant looks interesting too, although it may be the kind of game I will claim and then will forget about pretty quickly.
I was always interested in playing Detroit, but not enough to buy it. When I saw it was available through PS Now I decided to try it and am glad I did!
