Things are mostly going well. Work is busy, which is good because money, but I’m still not particularly interested in solving other people’s problems lately, and dealing with institutions (courts, banks, etc.) fucking sucks right now. I’ll send a letter requesting something and might just never hear back from them,

Well, of course!

I made a run to Harbor Freight yesterday, completely forgetting that the place is like catnip. I’m working on a project, so all that I needed was super glue (I like the small, cheap tubes they sell because if the nozzle gets too clogged I can throw it out and get a new one instead of tempting fate) and some clamps. I

Well, kinja just swallowed a couple paragraphs I’d typed out thanks a page refresh when I switched apps for one moment, so that’s a good start, I guess. The two sleepy dogs on the couch with me definitely make up for it, though.

I love it what when I see something is going to be a problem and I point that out to the people who need to approve it and don’t get a response, that there are a flurry of emails about it being a problem the next day. Fuck you vendors, and your goddamn power plays.

🎶Mike Fahey, spider-smashing hero! Hey, spidey spidey spidey, stay off of the pie! It’s his pizza pizza pizza so don’t make him cry!🎶

Been very exhausted lately from work. There will be more work this weekend too. My new desk should be getting here today, so when I’m not working this weekend, I’ll be taking my existing desk apart, moving it back into my studio, then setting the new desk up in the office, along with all the accouterments and such

I fuck around for a bit before I start working in the morning anyway. But every single job before this one has been one of those real-life in-person jobs, and I sat in my car for a solid five to ten minutes before every shift at every job just psyching myself up to go inside.

I can’t imagine what it’s like to have a

I’m back at work after almost two weeks off and you know what? Vacation is WAY better than work! Who knew?!?

I had a great nap next to one of the dogs last night, and that certainly helped a lot. It’s about to get hot over the weekend but the really cool evenings lately has me mentally primed for cooler autumnal weather. Bring on the cozy clothes! Bring on the weighted blanket!

Been having a tougher time again with work. Just feeling down with it and I hope to be able to move on at some point. Long hours have left me not really feeling like I can relax, and it’s just kind of piling up.

My “happy place” lately has been watching Prime Time from Eater on YouTube. My wife doesn’t understand why I keep watching the same videos about meat over and over, but I find them comforting. It’s also helping to embolden me a bit when it comes to cooking, since most of my recipes involve burying the protein under a

I ordered a new microphone and boom arm kit, and it should be getting here today. No real reason, other than I wanted it. The cat and the dog have been insanely rambunctious the past few days, and its partly driving me up the wall. Took me about an hour to complete Level 3 for Mario 2 last night, just because the cat

BOOP BOOP BEEP BEEP SPECIAL BULLETIN!

This. All this.

It’s like riding a fleshy bike.

Fall Guys, fall guys, fall guys. I’ve been so, do close to getting a crown a handful of times now. Literally touching one at the same time as the player who won. I’ll get there yet.

My only problem with Doom Eternal—and it’s one I’m pretty sure has been mentioned to death, but oh well—is just how much they apparently focused on making you use every single one of the billion tools and guns. I hate that I always feel like I’m scrounging for ammo and forgetting that I have abilities I could be using.

Does anybody else find the Avengers game just, like, profoundly unattractive? They all look lumpy and bland; the men all look like they’re coming out of retirement after letting themselves go for five years. They’re the bland suburban parent version of themselves. Or, like, cut-rate knockoffs from an Asylum movie
