Whoa. Time to yourself? I love my wife and we’ve quarantined wonderfully together, but I am quite jealous of this alone time you're going to have.

I got into salad when I realized there was a whole bagged salad section in the produce area. Just chop up a couple more veggies, maybe throw some chicken in there and, bam, dinner in under ten minutes.

Cooking for me really depends on the techniques needed, but usually I’ll start with a recipe and then either swap out certain ingredients (leeks for onions, say; different but similar veggies is always a good way to mix things up), or tighten up certain steps if I’ve learned a better technique from a different recipe.

I’d give you my (digital) copy of Doom Eternal if I could, since I'm not playing it. Some classic Fallout-ish fun of Outer Worlds does sound good!

I did the same last week with Control’s DLC. Let us trade the cold, unrelenting terror of a virus for the cold, unrelenting terror of the Astral Plane.

I haven’t been able to find a suitable game for short term fun after finishing Death Stranding. Finished up the story missions in Lego Avengers, but there's really no point to doing all the collectibles aside from getting more characters, but... eh. Played some Agents of Mayhem, which has its GI Joe action figure

God, I loved everything from the early days of Adult Swim. ATHF, Sealab 2021, The Brak Show, Space Ghost, Home Movies, Mission Hill (even though it was a rebroadcast), Harvey Birdman, all those shows were so great.

Some days I do miss the sense of discovery and possibility and randomness of my 20s. I don’t miss the uncertainty and periodic loneliness and can definitely, definitely look back and see how big of an idiot I was in so many ways. There are definitely certain social scenes I’d enjoy stepping back into with everyone

Couldn’t sleep for some reason, so I wound up playing 1P Mario Party 2 at 5am. I finished second on the account of bonuses despite leading the main game.

That sounds right.

I’ve played a little of every GTA except V. I always screw around for a little while and then just get bored. Finally I gave up trying. Clearly it’s not for me. It needs to move way slower, add horses, and give me TB. Then I’ll like it.

I will be playing one Uncharted or another. I hit chapter 12 in 3 last night. Also,

I’m a short walk away from likely a long stretch of cutscenes and credits in Death Stranding, which will be satisfying to wrap up. I’m hoping to make that happen this afternoon so I have the rest of the weekend for more variety. I have a physical lego set to finish up, and though I grabbed the Harry Potter lego game

I don’t use any of the body fluid grenades, but I make sure Sam gets a shower and a dump after a good day’s work, and especially after trekking through the snow for a while. I always wonder why he sleeps first before showering; can't imagine how gross those beds get after he sleeps on them covered in tar.

Woo! Keep on keeping on! And just remember this is a game that overexplains everything, one place or another. Be sure to craft plenty of multi rocket launchers when you get to edge knot city. You never know when you’ll need a few good rocket launchers, as we all say regularly.

Agreed! And all it really needed was the game mechanics to give those feelings. A vast majority of the plot really muddles all that... If it was just Sam and Fragile (and maybe Deadman, who I’ve really come to enjoy) trying to build a network of peppers with these mechanics, it’d be perfect. I have a feeling I won't

Idon’t know how much I try to stay positive as I try to be not-negative. I’m prone to more anxious/worrying and depressive thinking at times, and I’ve found it more helpful not to try to prove myself that things are good, just to prove myself wrong, that things aren’t as bad. Once I have a less skewed perspective, I

I don’t cook a lot, so anything that’s not a sandwich or eggs is a miracle. But I started making stir fry recently because it looked super easy. Turns out it is. I just buy steam bags of frozen vegetables, some rice, and chicken or whatever meat. Throw some teriyaki sauce in there. Delicious. I’ll try other sauces and

Trying to think of my gateway to I Can Make That! I spent a long time in my 20s doing Cooks Illustrated recipes and trying new stuff, and there definitely were a bunch of moments where I had that a ha moment. Maybe it was making a whole roast chicken? It’s not that technical, not that involved, and the results are so

It took me forever to get into graphic novels and anything comic related. I could never get past how amazing covers looked, but the inside art was something completely different. After working on my own book, I understand how hard it is doing frame after frame.

The one thing that is saving me from my day job (UI artist at a mobile game company...I really need to get out of games) at this time is working on my graphic novel. Been at work on it for about two years now, but I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. On days I don’t work on it, I definitely
