Okay, now I'm hungry.

Dang, I'm impressed! I would feel really unsure about cooking any deer/venison, not having any experience. What's the secret? A quick char but keep it on the rare side? Or a lower heat?

Did a quick grilling day last weekend and it was glorious. It was only some asparagus and then a mess of kalbi short ribs, but it was 85 degrees out and all was right for a while. Definitely restocking the charcoal this next store trip.

Yeah, I haven’t been stopping to take in the scenery too much. I also haven’t been playing anything else. The delivery game loop has been really satisfying for me right now. I can zone out a little, put on an audiobook, and make progress. I’ve enjoyed getting peppers online and then linking up zip line networks to

I was working on a certification course over the weekend, and this module took about two hours to go through, with a 70 practice question bank. How long is the test for that module? 3 questions.

It’s been weird.

My wife and I were talking about this yesterday. Not a whole lot about my routine has changed, since I work from home anyway and I’ve never been a super social person. But the context of everything in my life has changed. Staying home because I’m a homebody is now “staying home to not die.” Driving to CVS to get my

The one bit of “normal” I’d like to get back to is the drop in. Gotta run an errand, hey, I can drop in on that coffee shop on the way. Oh, I can also drop in to that other place for that one little thing. And there’s nothing going on tonight, might as well drop in to the theater for a movie. Every outing right now is

Lego Hobbit is, I would say, 60 percent combat, 40 percent puzzles? It has a fairly extensive open world with sidequests in between the chapters, and what seems like a decent amount of extra stuff to do.

Hopefully finishing up Lego Hobbit and In Other Waters. Really enjoying the atmosphere of In Other Waters. I want to start Disco Elysium or play through Kentucky Route Zero finally, but I feel like I want to be in a really great mental space to enjoy those as they deserve.

Finally started into Outer Worlds and thoroughly enjoying it! Looking forward to around a 40/50-ish hour play through instead of 80-100 like I did with FO3/NV. It feels enough like Fallout to be familiar, but different enough to stand out on its own.

Once I’m done with Desmonding The Numbers into my computer (aka office work from home), I’ll get back to the Death Stranding grind. I have maybe three road segments left to build, but that grind really wore me down last night so I think I’m going to switch it up and get some more peppers linked up and hopefully five

I think I’m going to free myself from the turnips this week in Animal Crossing. I’m excited to start work on building a new desk for myself this weekend. I don’t anticipate the frame taking too much time. The desktop will be a longer process though. I have some boards that I will need to resaw, joint, plane, and glue

I am going through all my PS1 games I never beat back in the day. I just beat Legend of Dragoon and now I am playing Brave Fencer Musashi.

I hit chapter 16 in Uncharted 2 last night. I might wrap that up tonight and then I can get cracking on Uncharted 3. So plenty of Uncharted for sure. I thought I had forgotten everything about UC2 (except the llamas), but it’s been coming back to me as I go. Everything is actually very familiar now.

My Overwatch

Exactly! It’s a tight length of a book, adds really good lore and world building—especially because it takes the antagonist focus away from Voldemort for the most part and puts it on the other dark wizards and equivocation from the ministry—and really tells a good story of friendship and family and giving Harry a much

Well, it was time for me to take the hair plunge that was on topic on Monday. I had hit that point where my hair stopped being part of my head and started being its own thing. Had my wife buzz down my hair, and it was very clear she did not have experience in this. Not necessarily from the results, but in how you

I am currently not reading the two books on the history of Portugal I ordered right after the stay at home orders went into effect. I listened to all the Harry Potter audiobooks recently (book 3 is still the best [and the best movie]), and I already miss Jim Dale’s voice. I’m now listening to another Louise Penny

When I’m not applying for jobs or mindlessly scrolling Imgur/Reddit, I’m likely trying to stay on top of the New Yorker or playing Doom 2016/Overwatch. But I’m DYING to get to Broken Kingdoms, because The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms rapidly became one of my favorite books; I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that

I have a plan for my coming expansion into the mountains, involving a routine of deliveries to five star new places during resource collection runs for road expansion. Zip lines are becoming spokes in my design. I just hope the plot doesn't get in the way and stage gate me.
