While I can’t stand planning out a week or a month ahead, I have drawing some positive energy from long term plans. One plan is a trip to Germany/Austria, which I hope to make when traveling is safe again, ideally Fall 2021. It still is pretty tough for me to stay positive when I am running errands, my anxiety flares

Death Stranding has become a driving positive force in my life as well. Once all the Stay at Home orders went into place the game’s themes and concepts really started affecting me. It’s a testament to caring about others and working hard and together to achieve amazing outcomes.

Yeah, she is the last one for me too.  She has a few fetch and return missions, but it’s a pretty weak reward for having to go through the BT area followed by MULE territory.

Most of the homemade stuff I am involved with is helping my partner bake. I am much better at cooking than baking, so that’s my usual contribution. She has been making a bunch of different citrus curds which I mix with my morning yogurt and is just delicious. We have also been experimenting with a sort of not-hummus

Cool! I have really been getting into graphic novels in the past few months, and am kind of wondering why I had not been before.  Thank you for sharing!

I guess mostly I have been sharing music with friends when we listen to music streams together on weekends. I also have been trying to share my personal opinion/reviews of books I read, video games I have played, etc... so that people I know can have new ideas of ways to distract themselves when it all becomes a bit

The lower heat over longer seemed to work a lot better, in part I think because the pieces were pretty large. I usually like the quick char method with more rare center, but when I tried that at first I got burnt outside with uncooked inside (Although that may have stemmed from not letting it come to room temperature

My friend has something like 800 lbs of frozen deer he was trying to offload on to other people, so I picked some up and grilled that up with a bunch of veggies. I kind of burnt the first round of meat, as I was not familiar with grilling deer, but it was smooth sailing after that and tasted great. If I can get in the

You are really speeding towards the end of Death Stranding here where I have been seriously lagging. I just didn’t really feel the same motivation to play the game after completing the roads, although I am plugging along. Part of it is I’ve been playing a lot of co-op, couch and online, as my main gaming time these

Same about the gym. I’ve had a gym membership and regularly went (at least once a week, but usually more like 2-4 times a week) ever since I was 18, with maybe a month lapse in there when I was particularly broke after school. The body weight workouts and walks just aren’t really giving me the same feeling I got from

I have definitely been feeling world weariness weigh on me in the past couple weeks, but one thing is still pretty normal: Five day work weeks are a drag and I am definitely looking forward to the three day weekend coming up!

How is Lego Hobbit? Is it mostly combat or mostly puzzles?  Same question for Lego LotR if you have played that.  Thank you!

My partner and I finally got 100% playing Lego Harry Potter together, so what did we do? Started a new game again! I will also be trying to pepper in Overcooked and Little Big Planet 3 with her, mostly for my own sanity of not playing the exact same thing over again.

The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms is on my list of books to read, thank you for the positive review! I will bump it up my list accordingly.

You have the right opinion, Book 3 is the best HP book and movie. It’s a little darker with more interesting material (i.e. not 50% filled with kids going, “wow, magic is real!”), but not overly bloated like some of the later entries.

I am currently in the back half of Medallion Status: True Stories from Secret Rooms by John Hodgman. He is truly a king of the tangent, often veering into hyper specific observations, or fabricating links from stories he is telling tohis current, or not-so-current, pop culture obsessions (I’m looking at you extinct

[Sorry if these are spoilers in any way, but I am trying to talk purely logistically] What I ended up doing is building the roads up to the base of the mountain and then hiking up to Mountain Knot City and reverse building those road sections with the resources from those settlements. There are a couple settlements in

Same, I have some very fond memories of playing #2, although I don’t ever remember being particularly good at it.

The THPS release is apparently not until September... My previously real life friends, but now online gaming friends, were getting all excited about it yesterday.

I had recently taken a break from Death Stranding after a particularly disastrous delivery attempt that ended in my death, the first one in a long time. Death is particularly jarring in a game where I try to avoid combat at all times. I returned from my hiatus and deftly performed the delivery that had previously
