I have family that live outside of Chicago. My cousins who are pretty far out of the city seem fine, if a little stir crazy, but my uncle who lives closer to South Chicago was recently diagnosed. His symptoms finally started to relent the other day after having a fever for like 7+ days straight, which was relieving.

Totally agree. I thought I was coming to the natural conclusion of the game, which I was ready for, only to realize I was barely just over halfway through, a realization that me take a hiatus from playing. I think I am approaching being ready to take on some of the back half soon though.

Building roads and driving around on them in my gold truck is probably my favorite experience in the game so far, even though it’s a subtle feeling of satisfaction. There was a little sadness with the pride when I realized I built them all, or at least the ones I am aware of anyway.

Western WA also seems destined to move to Phase 2 of reopening absolutely last in the whole state, which is a little discouraging even if expected. I was reading some Eastern WA restaurants were already opening their dining areas in a limited capacity as those cities had fewer cases overall. While I am a little frustra

The hair on the top of my head has always been densely populated while my beard istoo patchy to be worth growing out, with the worst part of it being the teen-stache. I recently had a haircut opportunity that I passed up because my hair had just grown past an awkward phase and was looking good again. So currently I

I am currently trying to cleanse the TV in Control. I’ve died a few times at this point, but am formulating a strategy that seems like it might work. I am thinking that should open up some other areas in the Oldest House, so I will probably explore the building more once I do that.

My neighbor has a bumper sticker of a little pig in a pentagram saying “Hail Seitan!”  He’s a nice guy.

The kid is getting a harsher punishment than Flynn from the DOJ. Boom, topical!

My uncle was recently diagnosed, but thankfully has mild symptoms at the moment. I have been a little closer with him and my cousins outside of Chicago recently, going from never talking to them to regularly posting and chatting with them over a family quarantine FB group (yes they are very Midwestern). They post pics

It can be tough to have one meat eater and one vegetarian in the house, which is the case with my partner and myself. When I am in charge of cooking, I also purposefully pick dishes I can add meat to as the final step of the process.

The first couch I was going to get ran out of stock after I received the order confirmation and they were trying to tell me I might receive it in August at the earliest. Thankfully I was able to get a full refund and found something very similar to what was originally ordered (same couch, different color).

Yesterday was a tough day for me, so I am trying to stay positive today. One thing that will help is the new couch is scheduled to be delivered today! After multiple weeks of beautiful weather, the NW is back to it’s normal spring MO: one gorgeous day followed by one or more days of rain and clouds. Saturday is

Bob’s Burgers is the perfect show to fall asleep to with it’s usual low plot stakes. I have been watching all of Brooklyn 99 for the 4th or 5th time, but that’s definitely a tougher show to fall asleep to because there is quite a lot of yelling that goes on in it (it’s still one of the funniest shows on TV, in spite

WA got another month of Stay at Home order, which was tough to take. I was expecting Inslee to extend it to 5/18, but the extension to 5/31 just was a little more frustrating than I expected, even if I understand the reasoning behind the decision. My new couch will be coming within about a week, and I went and heisted

Agreed, it’s just the right speed for my partner who doesn’t care for most video games.  We got 100% on the years 1-4 just the other day and are now working towards the 100% in back half of years.  Although we understood how the games worked a little better when playing those years, so there’s less to collect there.

I am currently trying to 100% Lego Harry Potter with my partner. I also might play some Monster Hunter World with a couple buddies tomorrow too. Then in the background I have been playing Control while taking a break from Death Stranding. I like both of those games so I will probably switch back and forth as the mood

You definitely run into some pretty wild environments, some of which are more recognizable and Earthly than others.

It’s funny that Death Stranding has become my surrogate Outdoors Simulator. There are certain valleys on the larger map that remind me of my semi-recent road and camping trip out to Yellowstone (plus or minus a moonscape field) and it makes me all nostalgic.

Almost all my travel plans were wedding related this year, and the first of those just got postponed to Spring of 2021 (originally slated for late June). I kind of expect most of the other summer weddings to be rescheduled at this point, but maybe the October wedding in Alaska might still go forward, assuming there

Chapter 3 onward is definitely when I started loving the game in general.  You still run into frustrating bits, but you have more than enough tools for every situation and I really started grooving to the Lonely Astronaut Delivery Service aesthetic of the game.  I am currently at the back end of Chapter 8.
