Nice! Thanks.

Oh, man, now I want to go back and watch it with the excuse (a true one) to find Blum’s voice in there. Any idea when in the movie that is?

The guy behind the counter looks like he’s ready to pull a Viggo Mortensen from “History of Violence”:

“First I sent you a megachurch, but you kept waiting as the waters get higher. Then I sent you Canadians with money to aid you...”

Why do all these horror sci-fi movies have to be so technically based in science, making them “grounded” and “gritty”? Whatever happened to the pure slimy grossness that is he spectacle of the original Blob? (What? Wrong post to complain a stupid point? Oops. I’d delete it, but that just isn’t how kinja works.)

I still think there should be a sequel film to “Big Trouble in Little China” called “Little Trouble in Big China.”

I’m not sure what anyone could look for in a 6 second clip. What’s the problem?

The 2016 version of Tom Brevoort disagrees with the 2017 Marvel editors:

This is true.

I respect that you have taken the time to respond to one or more commenters, but you have to understand that arguing with someone named “angrier geek” will never end well for you (or any other writers here). The commenters have been getting worse and worse over the past year plus.

You are absolutely correct. Even the subs, like ODeck, which used to be amazing, have fallen due to this issue.

But if Secret Empire ultimately ends up being a story about how Nazis are bad—something that every sensible person already knew

All it takes to bring the whole thing down is one unforgiveable farter. Imagine this farter tries most of the cars out first. That smell never leaves.

Please! I have been in your limbo since the inception that night in the dorms (why did we mix tech with hallucinagens)! All you have to do to release me is spin the damn top. Please. Please release me. Spin the damn top!

The glasses trick they use for the eyes was used several years ago for Edgar Wright’s “The World’s End”. I wonder who originally innovated that. Anyone know? (E.W. was the first filmmaker I saw use that technique.)

Awesome! Thanks! Why in the world are you in the greys?!

Andrea Romano.

Is that more recent or older? It’s been so long my brain doesn’t remember the original series as well, and I still haven’t finished the most recent iteration.

Reminds me of that issue of Batman by Grant Morrison.

I think that you can compare them; you can compare anything really. And these days, I think it’s important to compare what capabilities, strengths and drawbacks there are in the various mediums of theatrically released films, television series, comic books, graphic novels, internet-only released videos, and books.
