Much appreciated username/comment synergy. I am not a Pedantic Editor Type and generally don’t harp on the typos here, but... c’mon. He completely missed the joke!

The original joke is that is name was Micheal Sheen. Misspelled.
You know, I’m probably an edge case here, and excuse me for being a sourpuss on the internet, but I didn’t think the last couple Game of Thrones seasons were good.
Generally speaking, the show goes downhill past season four but even the worst seasons have their moments. I don’t regret sticking with it until the end. I’m apparently the only person in the world who didn’t hate the finale with a searing passion.
I would argue that each season up until season 5 (the last I watched, though I did come back for the finale) was worse than the one before it, but there are reasonable arguments to the contrary, and mine is a very book-centric perspective; the logistical/plotting impact of early-season adaptive changes turn out to…
I'll try not to internalize your comment as talking about my body as I grow older ("gracefully"!)
Excellent write up. I get excited to see another article by you come across the feed, while I wait and hope against hope that I may live to see another Block and Tackle series entry.

Club for the pop culture news updates and the discussion/jokes in the comments, but—with the exception of the film reviews from A.A. and Ignatiy—nothing brings me the pure joy of the articles we used…
“As mentioned above, a wheel is a device to transform what could happen into what does happen, with no regard for mortal desires.” You might even say... it’s a time machine. It goes backwards, forwards. It takes us to a place, where we ache to go again. It lets us travel in a way a child travels. Round and round, and…

Clement: “There’s only one way to settle this.”
In my head: “Rap battle.”
Clement: “Rap battle.”
Me: “YES!”
Poor Jason Mantzoukas never had a chance in a rap battle against the Hiphopopotamus.
Mantzoukas showing up as a weird psychological abstraction? Derek
This is very similar to what I told my girlfriend in high school when she broke up with me. Except that she wasn’t in the room. Because it was 5 hours later. And I was in the bathroom staring at myself in the mirror. I showed her.
