I think you're right about Gumshoe, but I feel like he's one of those guys that is under 30, but looks older, sort of worn out. The nuances you add in when basing a person off of an illustration.

I think you might be referring to, as the other reply mentioned, the main character of "The World Ends With You" (the guy with the loads of hair gel and headphones), or you've mistaken Squall Leonhart and Rinoa Heartilly from FF8. No matter, they're all designed by the same man-crab with a strange zipper obsession.
