I've been playing Dragon Quest IX since it came over to the U.S. and I have to say that it seems to share at least a few qualities of a Western RPG. I can't quite define what exactly, but does anyone else feel that maybe they've picked up on something and added it in?

@Covenant: If they want to keep the pricing in line with the new Arcades coming out, I'd have to say they'll put these at $99.99. That way people who bought the slim Elite don't feel like they got ripped-off because of their choice. The old SKUs lined up like this as well.

@Baraka_Obama: Why let someone do for free, something you can charge them for? C'mon, it costs almost $70 for their branded Sandisk 16GB USBs when the non-branded Sanddisk 16GB USBs cost only $30. It's an opportunity to make money, and a company wants to make money.

I'm torn: do I update my game and receive this interesting newness or forever lock away my zombie King of Pop for posterity?

@Mmm: Right. As long as retailers are given the heads up and poor retail/corporate drones, like myself, don't go spoiling the secret to the Internet, I'd be so happy to buy a 3DS at launch.

I'm fairly certain that some of the discussion under this article is going to go in a particular direction, and it is at that direction that I preemptively shake my head. Neat program though.

@breadofwonder: Don't forget now, Amaterasu is not a dog, but a wolf, not just a wolf though but a god wolf, and not to mention a girl god wolf.

@potatojenkins: Well, it's not like anyone is going to remember him for this show...

@Galvarez: It has nothing to do with the quality of the show, which was good, but more with the lack of faith MTV has in any sort of traditional programming. You could fill an entire DVD rack with the amount of canceled, non-reality shows that MTV runs through in a year. For example, right now "RJ Berger" is doing

@surft: A major clue that the two additions will be Rolento and Elena could be the inclusion of both a construction site background and the Africa background in SSFIV. Although, I wouldn't mind Q either...

@minusX: And, along with Hugo Andore, fit nicely with the cast over on MVC3, don't you think?

@gundalf: This show is possibly more meta than any other giant robot show ever. Territory like this hasn't been tread by anime since Monster Rancher.

You know, the concept of this show would make for a pretty cool game. Make it so that the only way you could get a suit to use in the game is by building it. It gives players a greater sense of ownership when they see the model they put together, rather than just putting together your character by normal creation

@tattertech: It's still hard to believe that it's really happening, that's all. Every time I look at the confirmed date, I feel like someone is going to wake me up and it's all been one collective fever dream in the collected consciousness of gamers and South Koreans.

I think their are two important things to realize after seeing this. One falls upon the viewer, the other upon the subjects. The viewer has to realize that these people are expressing their joy for something they love. They do deserve credit for taking the time (some more than others) to put together a real-world

This makes me worry a little bit about the release date potentially slipping. Hopefully, this is just a big step towards balancing the online so that those problems people are complaining about can get addressed.

@ThisCharmingMan: Gamestop is tapped out and they were one of the most direct ways to snag a code.

All things considered, this is still better than Tattoo Assassins and the majority of other fighters actually released during the '90s.

My question is this: if these people like to dress up as animals specifically because it makes them "happy", and they are always looking for partners with whom they might "yiff", and this is documentation from their very own convention that collects all these like-minded individuals...where does this picture figure

Now playing

This is basically the evolution of static illustrations, as someone else said, and if used for what they describe, it could be a useful tool. For example this clip, which was my first exposure to Action's animation was this clip explaining the Tonight show war to their Asian audience.
