1st World Problems: I do use a password manager and all of my passwords are unique at this point. But since I have no idea which account was associated with the breach, I must assume it could be any of the logins attached to that email address and must now manually try about 75 passwords in Troy’s password checker, or

I’m not accusing anyone of anything, but having a website where you enter your email and password to see if you’ve been hacked really feels like one of those “Idiot Test -- Insert One Dollar” tricks.

This is what's known as "a scam".

I love the idea of it, but those prices are ridiculous.

$45 a six pack?  Are these being purchased at Pentagon prices?

There are tip jars at drive through windows now...that didn’t use to be a thing. We’re moving in the wrong direction with regards to who get tips. We should be moving away from tips instead of expanding who expects to be tipped.

Yeah, I know Salty wants us to fling fistfuls of twenties at everyone even remotely restaurant-adjacent, but the person that does nothing but ring up my order and hand me food does nothing to deserve a 20% tip.

Dunkin has fuckin tip jars and they don’t pay those employees like wait staff.

This! And the free market does go both ways. Restaurants and Cafes in the US need to catch up with most of the rest of the world and....get rid of tipping as an expectation. Pay your people livable wages.

Ya wth, you’re supposed to tip at counter service places? I will tip a dollar or something sometimes just to be nice but I definitely don’t think it should be regarded as if you have a waiter at a restaurant.

There’s always going to be a certain amount of work and who does what determines if I feel I should give a tip:

No, the employer is stiffing the staff. You’re just left holding the bag.

Maybe the young’uns frankly don’t realize that they should still tip on a counter-service order.

No. Their employer is stiffing the staff. Customers should tip, but they are not responsible for complying with labor laws.

My rule: if I paid at a counter, I’m not tipping. Neither should these kids unless they’re sitting down with a menu, getting actual table service and paying at the end.

The answer to questions like this is always the same:

Maybe the young’uns frankly don’t realize that they should still tip on a counter-service order.

Yeah, that restaurant needs to put a mandatory service charge

I’ve been trying out TagSpaces (and enjoying it) but I have yet to find a system that makes tagging easier for exceptional numbers of images and tags. Closest thing I’ve found so far has been a custom object-detection script, an instance of Tesseract-OCR, and a batch to embed the results of both in EXIF tags, but I’d
