Gremlins has such a weird tone. The first half of it is REALLY scary, up through the point where the Mom is trying to get out of the house. And then it’s like a switch gets flipped, and they’re in costumes, and being silly, and there’s cartoon noises.

Had to watch this video at 1.5 speed because good lord those slow pans.
