Agreed! My kids are 10 and almost 13 and have watched Coraline exactly one time and refuse to watch it again. I think it was the button eyes that did it.

This should be true when thinking of acquiring any new pet, but - also talk to a vet, and get educated on the kinds of diseases and conditions exclusive to avian life. You can’t take a sick chicken just anywhere like you could with a dog or cat.

I really enjoyed the series overall. The Hood Maker and The Commuter were definitely my favorites. I enjoyed the initial concept of AutoFac, but didn’t like the execution.

I have disproportionately strong/fond memories of The Maxx. I often wonder if it was as good as I remember, but kinda don’t want to check.

I don’t think they are back on earth though. They’re still in the afterlife, they’re just in a version of it where they believe they are alive. In all the other iterations, they’ve been told right away that they are dead. I think she’s still dead, just not being made aware of it.

My sons are 9 and 12 and we still read every night they are with me. I love it, they love it, and I will keep doing it until they ask me to stop, at which point I’ll probably go cry in the bathtub for 10 hours.
