I really enjoyed the series overall. The Hood Maker and The Commuter were definitely my favorites. I enjoyed the initial concept of AutoFac, but didn’t like the execution.

You seem wound up. Do you need a hug or something?
I would not call the ending of Let the Right One In “happy” or “adorable” by any stretch.
Blank Man?
I have disproportionately strong/fond memories of The Maxx. I often wonder if it was as good as I remember, but kinda don’t want to check.
I would like to validate your concern and fear.
I don’t think they are back on earth though. They’re still in the afterlife, they’re just in a version of it where they believe they are alive. In all the other iterations, they’ve been told right away that they are dead. I think she’s still dead, just not being made aware of it.

*tableflip* So many games of 20 questions are now forfeit! UGH.
Fistbump for Gmork nightmares solidarity.
That was really intense. It’s executing on a very specific fear of my own, one I wasn’t even aware I had until I watched this. The crude aesthetic style really makes the whole situation a lot harsher and more uncomfortable.
The No Mouth girl is the best/worst part of that whole segment. So creepy!
I look forward to a Korg/Miek & Rocket/Groot meetup, with Rocket complaining that “they’ve already been doing the Big Guy Little Guy thing and it’s going fine and we don’t need ANOTHER one.”
My youngest used to have severe separation anxiety. We got through it, but now he is 9 and regressing.
I think Babadook resonated for me more as a parent than because it’s particularly scary.
Update: No, it isn’t.
Looks like Predator took a gulp of the electricity juice from Gremlins 2.
Yeah, my first thought was that he’s talking to Rey. The trailer is a misdirect.
Imagine what would happen if we could get these people to put as much enthusiasm behind something that mattered even a little bit.
Beth, where would we send you recommendations for games that we think are interesting and deserving of a similar treatment?
