This place will do that to ya, heh. As for me, I may spend the next few hours watching old (or new!) MST3K eps, so thanks.

Yes! Loved these guys.
It’s all good!
“I saw a plane today.
Flying low
Over the island.
But my mind
Was somewhere
Else...”
Thanks! So it’s your sis, me, and Debbie Harry - and oh! Canada!
Hee! Thanks.
I would give half a week’s pay to hear this blast over the PA at Wimbledon when Rufus appears:
OH my goodness.
Oh Canada! Joni in happier times.
“Where the hell did I put that round for my grenade launcher?”
When I read my post later, it sounded completely WTF (your fried chicken reference made me hungry, was what I was trying to say). Thanks for bailing me out. Oh, and sorry about your pizza. :o)
Mute FTW on this one, definitely.
Dammit ‘boy, now I gotta find my keys, drive downtown to my shop, and snatch up that leftover pizza I left in the fridge down there last night. This is my life.
This song is a rare modern example of a simple but expertly-crafted piece of music. There’s so much that tries to pass for it these days, and so much of it misses the mark. This is gorgeous.
If I was the club owner and I had a chance to meet the thief, I would totally give him the finger - but he isn’t getting anywhere near that toe again.
Wendy worked with several other big names as a songwriter & backup singer, but you’re right, her solo stuff didn’t really take off. But there was a sincerity in her music that I always liked. She may not have been groundbreaking, but she owned every note.
Man, what an instant classic that song was.
What the hell - here’s the rest of the album. You rock, Wendy! :o)
Guilty pleasure time:
At first glance, the silhouette on this cover appears to be a kneeling mouse, looking away whilst holding up a defiant fist.
