Thank you - this is helpful to read honest perspective from the other side of this dynamic. I’m probably over-stating the extent to which I am the ‘fun’ parent, and to be clear it’s not a frivolous ‘well I would just suck at that job so I won’t even try it.’ I try to not use my ADD as a ‘get out of doing shitty task

I actually think about this all the time; what it would be like if I had married a similar type B or someone who deals with attention issues. I imagine its probably easier at first but a challenge once the responsibilities start piling up.

That is definitely something to consider - my kids have never seen me do laundry or my wife take out the trash. I do almost all of the cooking, so not everything is split on traditional gender lines at least.

I don’t need to switch roles with my wife to know that I couldn’t for even a day do what she does for our children while still working full time. There is a Type A / organizational aspect to so many of the day-to-day tasks that fall to her that I simply cannot handle. Playing to your strengths for parenting and

Blank and Kraft and the Rooney and Mara families.... I get Jerrah is a formidable force within the ownership but good fucking luck going against those four

I was definitely in the camp of don’t tell anyone until 12 weeks, and even then I would have preferred to just show up one day to a family gathering one day with a baby. I’m superstitious to a fault, and I can’t even watch a football game with the same group of people who happened to be attendance the last time my

I thought I had read that the screaming thing was traced back to a specific tennis academy in florida that produced seles and several other players around, and after her generation. Though probably psychological it also masks the timing of the contact of the racket and ball, which can throw your opponent off.

If you want to weep for humanity go take a spin through the comment section on PFT discussing McNair’s statements.

Honestly so much of the NFL has a boner for those families that she could probably walk into the league office and with her name alone change field goals from 3 points to 12.

I think when it comes to business related things the owners like Jones and Kraft, have maybe a little more pull than owners who simply inherited their teams like the current generation of Rooney’s and Mara’s.

she was informed of the rule right before she teed off.

Recently a preschool classmate of my daughters had to cancel their original party for some reason or another. As a make-up idea, the parents decided to just have everyone meet in the park near their school one night for pizza and cake, with beverages for the adult discretely consumed as well.

  • How do you feel about SPAM? For like 20+ years someone would get a gag gift of spam in their xmas stocking. And I’m just now realizing, I never saw anyone eat it but never once saw it in the trash. Which leads me to believe it was the same can each year or someone in my family is a closet SPAM eater. Anyway I’ve

The Terry Glenn and Curtis Martin jerseys I got for Christmas that year seemed like they would never go out of style :(

Did they mention it even once during last night’s broadcast? If they did I missed it. I know the Eagles / Bears game is THE fog-bowl, but the Pats v Steelers was played literally next door to Gillette and Belichek was the D coordinator in that game. Just seemed weird they didn’t reference it.

They are under contract. And the Chernin group isn’t stupid, they absolutely would have made sure Katz (and probably PFT) were locked into long-term deals before acquiring BS.

For one thing they are under contract, and both (katz more than PFT) at least owes something to barstool for his success. Although I’m curious to see how far that loyalty will go. I thought it was telling that neither of them, PFT especially, were very near the front of the group shot in that embarrassing news

Not that strange, I think they’re counting on the core PMT audience will tune in to see these guys take the next step. I also get the impression that it’s not a case of old media grey-hairs going, ‘Hey, what are the kids listening to these days? ’

That is part of the reason why I post maybe 1 in 10 pictures to FB, but it’s not something I lose sleep over. If I had any kind of public facing career, or more of an online presence, I’d certainly be more concerned. Or if FB had a history of using my photos without my permission but as far as I know they don’t.
